It would be pretty interesting if you started out as a freelance assassin until the DB tried to recruit/kill you for encroaching on their territory...

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
Oh and after becoming the leader having more controll over the Dark Brotherhood or any guild for that matter but for the Dark Brotherhood you could recruit members into the brotherhood you could also open up new sanctuararies and then in the dlc's if you go to a new province you could start a sanctuarary there. You should also be able to spar with the members of the Dark Brotherhood and have them spar eachother. Another thing is you should be able to promote assassins and be able to appoint a leader of that particular sanctuarary, and appoint speakers unless there already are speakers. Then you should have to send a letter out to all of the Speakers after talking to the Night Mother so they can tell the assassins who to kill. Then for the speaker in your province you should physically go to him and tell him the contracts for that week and then he sends the assassins on contracts and after they do a certain amount they could make them rise in rank.

You could roleplay doing that right now in Skyrim if you want it would work like thisChaos the N'wah wrote:It would be pretty interesting if you started out as a freelance assassin until the DB tried to recruit/kill you for encroaching on their territory...

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
Maybe the game could see you you act, and then incorporate that into the game. SO, if you were shaking your head no while in a conversation with an NPC, the game would interpret that as "No" and would put the NPC's dialogue accordingly.
It also promotes exercise! Great for gamers like us!

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
-Dark Brotherhood: I would really like a Dark Brotherhood questline in which the guild is feared, respected and at the zenith of it's power (at least by the end.)
-Setting: Black Marsh would likely be a difficult setting because it's mostly treacherous swamps with only smaller, scattered cities. That said, I think that Valenwood and Alimor or and the Khajiit kingdoms would work well.
-Races: I'd also like to see a bit more racial diversity. Oblivion did well in this respect, but the number of Nords in Skyrim is rather excessive (albeit justifiable)
-Animations: Some animations are rather robotic and poorly executed, even on the new engine. For instance, if I fatally wound someone with an arrow, they shouldn't flop to the ground and die instantly, they should stagger for a bit, clutch at their wound or something like that. Same goes for magic, someone on fire isn't going to run in the opposite direction while calmly saying "We are routed, fall back." They should scream and flop around like they're on friggin fire!

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
This is my number one wish having a hotkey system like where you can have either one or two daggers, axes, swords on each hip showing each weapon on each side. Then you can pick one big weapon that goes on your back Greatsword, War Axe, Bow and all of these hotkeyed items would show at the same time so if I have a sword on one side a dagger on the other and a bow on my back I would like them all to be shown on my character in third person that would be more realistic.

Summerset Isle would be insanely cool, but i honestly don't mind which province they do, as any one of them would likely turn out fantastic.
If the storyline centered on the Thalmor, i REALLY hope that we are given the completely free choice of siding with them or against them. Down with the Empire!

After thinking some more, I've decided that Hand-to-Hand (Combat), Unarmored (Stealth), and some undetermined magic skill should return, particularly if the next game is Elsweyr (my first choice). I'd also be satisfied with Black Marsh, particularly if there are werecrocodiles and their ilk.

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
I'm calling it now. TES VI: Dominion, set in the Summerset Isle and Valenwood (possibly just part of the latter, or added as a DLC). Featuring the epic battle between the Thalmor and the Empire, Mer versus Man, for control over the future of Tamriel. Returning to the alien look-and-feel last seen in Morrowind, with impossibly high towers of glittering glass and insect wings. A mysterious, ancient land where nothing is what it seems.
TES VII, of course, will be set in Akavir. Or, they might save Akavir for an MMO where the two sides (Dominion and Empire) are competing to colonize a new world.

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
- Better character creation view to properly see what the chara actually looks like. Possibility to turn your character 360 degrees and to zoom in and out.
- More options for character creation would be great. Longer hairstyles, both straight and curly for example, please! More hair colors too.
- Fluffier and thicker Khajiit fur as an option. Now they look too skinny and short-haired. Something along the lines of a snow leopard's fur.
- New player races.
- More armors consisting of separate pieces. Hoping to see some high heels and finer looking armors in the next game.
- Apparel and hats you can equip on top of your armor. These could be something silly like a chicken sitting on top of your head or bunny slippers on the feet, maybe even a handbag to carry around.
- Hand-to-hand combat skills (martial arts).
- More mounts like sabre cats, bears and mammoths.
- Animals to tame as your companions. They would fight on your side permanently and gain levels.
- Co-op mode with possibility for 2 players to play together on the same console.
- Screenshot support for consoles.

Female Nord limbsplitter (part-time supermodel) Eyjabria

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
The idea of the MMO made my stomach feel a little sick. Besides, UESP itself referenced that the MMO rumours have been "quashed". I'm still not convinced Beth would so soon return to the Thalmor theme either.alephnaught wrote:I'm calling it now. Sorry to nit-pick but moon sugar seems to be only mildly stimulating/dangerous, it being used by many Khajiit as part of daily life and cuisine. A crippling skooma addiction, on the other hand...addictedtomorrowind wrote:-Be able to preform the Black Sacrament.

Moral Dilemmas I really want good moral dilemmas. Quests relating to being a vampire with a number of clans and having lycanthropy.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
I may have said this before, but Great Houses! Depending on which Province it is set in of course will change the result, but a similar concept with real exploration of the native culture through a set of Factions like Morrowind's would be a great step in creating a believable and immersive culture, one of the real strengths of Morrowind as a game.
Skyrim sadly failed at this attempt, sort of, the Stormcloaks and Legion evoke too much hate and argument between the community, it's hard to like and get into both, where as each Great House was great in its own way and not too polarising. Plus sophisticated and well constructed mild xenophobia > racism and nationalism by a mile.

I'm hoping for Elsweyr. I hope they could add a few Khajiit high on skooma.
