The Society of Guardians

My people, the so called Guardians say they will protect us. They say they will maintain order and peace in the world. But let me ask you this: how can the economy thrive when an individual can create piles of gold by just wishing it? How can balance of power remain when a man can lift up entire mountains with his mind? How can religion survive when a mortal can be anywhere he wishes and another-one is virtually invulnerable? And how can we remain calm when someone can level entire cities with a flick of his wrist? This Guardians say that they will watch over us. But Who watches the Guardians?

-King Pathos of the Human kingdom of Horgart speech when the Guardians presented themselves.

In the begging. The Great beings created existence combining their powers. Everything was created. The Great beings started feeling lonely so they created the Mortals. They were stupid, violent and likely to die. The Great Beings finally imprisoned the anti-beings in the center of the planet for them to never couldnt watch over all the mortals so they created a DemiGod called: Moraty. It was supposed to watch over all the mortals. But the Great beings had enemy's, the anti-beings whose sole propose was to end everything that their brothers created because they were jealous of their ability to create and they could only destroy. The Great beings finally imprisoned them in a device the Moraty created called an Isolator. After many Eras the mortals continued to evolve and the Moraty started to grow tired of their stupidity. One tragic day the Anti-beings imprisonment broke freeing them to the world. Alone the Moraty couldn't defeat them so it asked the Great Beings for help but they had vanished. So as a last option the Moraty created 5 tools:

The Tool of Matter The Tool of Control The Tool of Eternity The Tool of Ending The Tool of Presence.

Each tool had a unique almost God-like ability and they were to be given to 5 mortals of each race with the requirements to wield them. This mortals are now known as:

The Society of Guardians

Races
Each player must choose a race that hasn't been chosen by another player.

Playable
Human
The least evolved and most ignorant of all five main races. Their homeland is the continent of Ossayra. They adapt quickly and sometimes can be really ingenuous. Their vision of the world is limited only to Ossayra and Eloisia where they trade goods with their cousins the Botars. They have hear legends and myths of the Eliqans, Pyndemoneans and Oroburians but most of humanity hasn't seen them. Their main patron is the Great Being of Agriculture.

Eliqan
The most evolved of all five. They have gotten to the point were they don't need legs and just hover in the air. Their intelligence mixed with a massive ego makes them one of the most hated races. They maintain a good relationship with the Oroburians since they share the continent of Casium. They have many colonies in Pyndemonea. Their main patron is the Great Being of Conflict or War. (Also know as the Lord of debates). They asexual.

Oroburian (also Ouroborian)
Scarab like humanoid race. They live in a massive cave system that spreads through two desserts located in Casium and Eloisia known as the Northern and Southern Orobus. They are a pacifist race that is rumored to have a massive underground library with all the knowledge in the World. They maintain a good neutral relation with all races. Their main patron is the Great Being of Time.

Botar
Cousins of the humans. They live in the eastern side of Eloisia. They are technically the most technological advanced race in the world due to their discovery of gunpowder and steel. Their stature is much shorter than the humans and their upper limbs bend in three points both up and down. Their main Patron is the Great Being of Nature. (Pretty Ironical right?) Even though they have gunpowder and steel they swore to never use it for marvelous purposes.

Pyndemonean
The biggest of all races. Their massive size sometimes achieving 3.4 meters of height grands them an advantage in the frozen and rocky biome the inhabit. They are best known for their massive constructions in the mountains. With their massive hands they can mine living rock out of the mountain and can carry up to half a tone. They an extremely pacifist race and the less known. Even the Ouroborian library doesn't contain much of them. The Eliqans established colonies in their home continent fifty years ago. Their relation is like a guest-host relationship. Their main patron is the Great Being of Life & Death.

What is the color of the night: black
Name: Lokan Dalas
Age:23
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Physical description: about 5'6", bulky chest and shoulders, muscular legs, arms ad back not so muscular making him relatively unattractive. Has bad knees, as in they bother him frequently. Long dark brown hair that he pulls back in a ponytail. Body is relatively inscathed as he prefers to avoid fights, rather than take part in them.
Personality: Quiet, doesnt speak much, but when he does it is usually meaningful, unless he is joking around with someone, which he ejoys doing. When it seems like fights are about to start, he does his best to keep them from happening, and when someone trys to instigate a fight with him he is sometimes able to talk his way out of it, though sometimes he fails. He has an unending fascination with the other races, and is always wanting to learn more about them. (their peoples history that is)
Others:??not sure what you want here. :p

Sorry, Dalas was supposed to be his last name

Spoiler:
Ok lets get this RP moving.
Lokan Dalas was on his way to Borandia, the main Human-Botar trading port in Eloisia. He had sailed a few weeks ago from Horgart. Capital of the human empire of the same name. The Horgart empire controlled all the southern half of Ossayra including the whole Ne -alcain desert. The Horgart capital is located where the mountains, desert and sea meet. To get to Borandia the ship had to sail through the Fire Ocean infamous for the large number of ships it has swollen. It has icebergs that break apart from the Dead Lands. Treacherous currents that love to change. But the main reason for the accidents and the Oceans name were its active underwater volcanoes. Lokan was nervous. This was his first trip to Eloisia to learn more about the Botars. They were the most accessible race and the closest to Humans. The ships captain approached Lokan and said: "Nervous kid? HA! I remember my first trip" He was an old wacky man missing many teeth and an eye. His breath smelled like the sea but Lokan was already used to it.
Spoiler:
Ok two things:

First: Character starts would be separate and in a few posts things will get REALLY intense
Second: Think of Horgart Humans as a mix of middle-eastern and viking culture.

Lokan looked at the man, and noticed hs many teeth, and looked away quickly so as to keep from losing his lunch. "Ha, me nervous? I don't thnik so! Umm, when are we gonna get there?" Lokan asked, trying his best to sound as cofident as possible, but knowing he was failing. He looked around and saw nothing but sea and glaciers from every angle. He was getting tired of the same view.

"Ummm..." The Captain thought while scratching the lice out of his beard. "We are about... a little more than half the way."

The icy breeze cut through Lokans skin. There was an uncomfortable silence with nothing, not even waves to interrupt him. It was about mid day. "Arrr! I am STARVING! COOK, is launch ready?" The captain shouted. "Aye aye sir!" Someone shouted from the other side of the boat. Possibly the cook. everyone went downstairs to eat. Some of the sailors even ran. Lokan was actually really hungry too. He was so hungry he could eat everything. In the table for lunch there was fine recently fished tuna for the captain, the officials and Lokan his guest and for the seamen, well they ate it so fast Lokan couldn't see what they were eating. Lokan ate his food trying to be polite, but the hunger he had made him finish all in about a minute. The same story was for the captain.

"Well, everyone back to positions!" Shouted the captain when he saw the food vanish. Lokan was still hungry, very very hungry and so was the captain and his crew. But rules were rules, no one could eat out of time. For about 30 minutes everyone tried to work, but the hunger they felt was unbearable...

"CAPTAIN!" Shouted a sailor. "YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!" The captain slowly walked to the sailor and saw something in the distance.

"What is it? An iceberg? Pirates?" He asked. Lokan approached too to see. It was a dark arc that seemed to move. Getting closer. And as it got closer the hunger got worst.

Everyone started to get on their knees, the hunger which was now famine drained the strength out of everyone. Lokan could see the strange object getting closer and closer and could sense himself getting weaker and weaker. When he was about to loose conscience he saw a strange being standing in front of him. It put a strange golden sphere the size of a small fist. The sphere exploded but instead of killing Lokan it wraped him in a protective field. He was no longer weak or hungry. The strange being vanished and the giant object that was getting closer hit the ship and Lokan blacked out. He woke up in a bed.

Lokan looked around as he awoke. "W-Where am I?" he stammered. "What happened?" He tried to get up, but fell back down as his entire body was wracked with pain. He groaned, and tried again, once again he fell back to the bed. "Uhh" he groaned again. His head started to ache, and he closed his eyes, and hoped the pain would go away soon.

The room was an elegant mixture of golden and red tones. There where no windows or visible sources of light but he room wasn't dark. A tall women entered the room. She had a golden sphere on her hand. Lokan couldn't tell if she was dressed or not because the colors surrounding her body were constantly changing.

"Ah, you are finally awake" She said in voice as soft as silk. "Allow me to introduce myself: I am the Moraty. What just happened to you a few minutes ago was an attack of the Anti-Being of Famine. That you survived was no coincidence. I need you to help me captured thy wicked souls of the the Anti-Beings that are attacking the land. I alone cannot defeat them all." She said still with a silky voice. "I am assembling a team of mortals to help me capture them. You are the first member of The Society of Guardians."

"Moraty? Society of Guadrians? What are you talking about!?" Lokan said, feeling greatly perplexed, and as he tried to sit up again, he once more felt like a dagger was piercing his head, and he fell back to the bed, groaning and moaning. "Is there something you could do for my head? To at least make the pain lessen? Then we can discuss this society of yours, once Im feeling better." He managed to get out.

The Moraty aprached Lokan and touched his head with the palm of its hand. Lokan imidiatly felt that the pain was gone. "Yes, does no one remember thy ancient tales?" The Moraty resnded. " I am the protector of mortals. But I cant protect you alone from this threat. I selected 5 mortals to who I will give 5 tools. You Lokan are now the proyd wielder of the tool of etherality." The Moraty gave Lokan the small golden sphere. "All 5 tools have hundreds of abilities but they are limited to your ability to control them"

Spoiler:
Is that supposed to be Eternity?
Lokan looked at the small golden sphere the Moraty had given him with interest. "Umm, ok. What am I supposed to do with this? What does it do? How do I use it?" Lokan looked at the Moraty, and held back the many more questions that were soaring through his head at that moment. After a moment he realized that he hadn't thanked her for healing his head. "Oh! umm, Thanks for making my head feel better." He said.

Walking out of the library he exited the building into the massive cave city of Olobia. Other Ouroborians walked past him continuing their busy lives. Something cached Yemais eye. A small shadowy little critter. It was like a little fur ball of darkness. When it "saw" Yemai, because it didn't have any visible eyes or ears or even a face, it started to bounce happily. Yemai blinked for a second in disbelieve. The creature was gone. He looked around trying to find it. The small shadow creature was now on his shoulder. It whispered something to Yemais ear although he didnt listen no sound he could hear the small creature: Come! The master is awaiting! But I need your permission to take you. Do you want to come?

Good character. Next time when you want to correct a mistake in a post. Use the Edit button in the bottom right corner of your post.
Markus was walking in Pyndemoneas northern tundra. The massive mountains rose south from him. Remembering the the the day. He following the killer since. For more than 10 years of his life he had been hunting the responsible. A source had told him he was hiding in a Eliqan colony in the western part of the tundra. The cold that was far below freezing point didn't affect his body. The fact that he was now near ocean level meant his massive lungs that evolved for the tall mountains got twice as oxygen. He felts twice as strong.

After 4 days of Journey with little food he finally arrived at Port New Elqan. An Elqan guard wrapped in furs stopped him and said in a very friendly voice: "Hello, stranger. Whats your buisness here in New Elqan?" The Elqan was hovering almost a meter above the snow. He wore a strange helmet. All his race wore this strange helmets. The point where his legs should be only was a strange pendulum like bone. Mostly a remainder of what used to be a hip.

Meanwhile in the Moratys chamber
"The tool you are holding protected you from the Anti-Being. It activates on thought. It provides a field of quantum-metaphysical energy that wraps the user or any other beings the user wants to become eternal for the time the user can hold the concentration." The Moraty could see Lokans face. "In layman words: User creates a shield, shield can wrap other things as long as user maintains concentration."

New Elqan
"Ok..." The Guard said. "There is an inn in for travelers and merchants in the main square. Its the second busiest place in town. You should find what you are looking for there." The Guard finished. He made a sign to another guard on top of a tower a the wooden doors opened. It was a busy place. The material used for the buildings shocked Marcus. The change from the grey stone to the brown and wood was weird for him. Elqans and Pyndemoneans walked through he streets. Well Elqans hovered through the streets. Then Inn was only a few hundred meters away.

Ourobus
The shadow creature made a cheering sound. Ok prepare yourself! Yemai was suddenly wrapped in shadows and the next thing he knew was that he was standing in front of a tall beautiful woman. "Ah good, I see Presence brought you here. Please follow me."

Nah its ok.
A feeling of sorrow invaded Markus. As he pursued the figure through the snow the memories of his past came back. Memories of how he had lost his family. Tears rolled through his cheeks. The figure both of them finally arrived to an alley. The escaper was breathing heavily. He was a Pyndemonean as well.

"What do you want?!" He shouted."I didn't do anything!" He started to cry. Markus could recognize his face. It was him.
