A lot harder

Post by Imp »

I can't even get out of the beginning dungeon. Is this bad?

I could hardly do it without following the wiki's map of the starting dungeon exactly, it's completely normal.

it's terrible, not many get out of the first dungeon. The worst part is if you stay too long stronger enemies will come, lizardmen, nightblades and some others I think

I pride myself with getting out without the map. I was completely lost then, though.

That was my goal... But three hours was enough.

Well the first dungeon gives you directions, it's also the simplest dungeon in the game. If you can't clear it on your own you don't really have much of a chance with the others.

The directions don't tell you much. You could turn anyway, going south or west. There isn't like, "go west on your first chance." or "Keep going south until..."

Your making it seem like it take less than three seconds...

No I'm not, I'm just saying, thats the only thing you do, yes the going streight, is kind of long, but its small comapred to other ones in game

There is nothing that says when pepole say "go streight" it must means any messure of time

I understand why you did not follow it, but the fact remains directions where clear and get the job done.

To be honest, getting through the dungeons isn't that difficult. You just have to be patient and be ready to explore every single corner until you find your way. When I played it, my tactic was to mostly just run around and explore as much as possible as quickly as possible. Sometimes it led straight to the exit, and sometimes it ended with me having to walk around in the dungeon for hours.
Probably not the best way, but it works.

that one day an Undead shall be chosen
to leave the Undead Asylum, in pilgrimage
to the land of the ancient lords

When I tried playing the first time, I did not succeed in getting out of the dungeon.

When I tried playing just the other week, I died before I got out of the dungeon. First Nord to be killed by a Goblin, I have no dignity left.

Depends on how you look at the term 'bad'? Just follow every cell via the map and you'll find everything. :-)

I only managed to escape that durance vile by avoiding as many monsters as possible.

Now I'm only level 9 and finding 4 Iron Golems in a squad-o-doom. Ech.
