I keep needing to make an account and order my own copy but I think I will see how it goes with everyone else from the UK. I've been screwed too many times with website orders. Didn't bethsada say it might appear on the itune store?

For all those whom have questions about their order if they just ordered recently, I have just received an e-mail from DirectSong after I e-mailed them about my 'Past Orders' section not showing up and such. Here is what they said.

Like some others, just registered here to get into this discussion.

First of all, Thank you guys for talking about this - didn't know if I am the only one having the "Card Approved"-Missing Problem. As well as you I am still waiting for my copy (living in Germany). I don't have to say how disappointed I am of the support page of DirectSong - however, this soundtrack is worth a little trouble...

Hey all, I´m so glad I found this forum. I placed my order on November 6, 2011 and have not received any confirmation. I live in the Czech Republic. I sent them two tickets, they did not respond. I disputed the transaction on PayPal on November 22.
Just a few days ago I received the following e-mail:

Date: 2011-12-02 10:06:26
Name: Gloria
Message:

Then I received a second e-mail:

Message:

We don't show you in the DirectSong system. Which means we'll need to research this with PayPay. Can you send me your PayPal Transaction number? It's a really long number that doesn't have any letters in it.
Best Regards,
Gloria

I do not understand why they need the transaction number etc. because I sent them all the details concerning the paypal transaction already on November 11 with the first ticket.

I do not know if to wait or to escalate the dispute to a claim.
I have only two days left to do it.

Good luck.

Okay, just got a response! It seems that when it disappears from the order, that's it being sent out!

Same issue. Ordered November 8, got a confirmation when I did order. No shipping confirmation but DirectSong says it was sent out. We shall see.

So I got tired of being baffled and talking to other baffled people about my bafflement and sent in a support ticket to DirectSong. I didn't really know what to expect, so I just went into it expecting my ticket would be overlooked. Amazingly, it was responded to, the exact same day I sent it in.

Here is my correspondence, for those curious, and hopefully it might give someone out there peace of mind.

I am disappointed with the poor communication associated with whether or not customers are going to receive their Skyrim soundtracks. I understand that you must be flooded with so many orders it is hard to manage the sheer amount of interest in the product, but a bit of confirmation would assist customers in not feeling like their orders have vanished through the framework.

I preordered the Skyrim OST on 11.11.11, and all I got was a confirmation email. Checking DirectSong's order status, all I see is this: Order Status: Card Approved.

I checked it today and the order simply disappeared from my order history page. It's just plain gone.

Does this mean it was shipped? Does this mean I'm finally going to receive my order or does this mean that the site decided to just drop my order after my card was already charged and the order was paid for?

I will be very, very upset if my money ended up being stolen after I paid for something I really, really want. I am a huge fan of Jeremy Soule, and being a young composer myself, I once spoke to him many years ago. The fact that he took time to reply to my email and show interest in my music made me want to buy his music, and to have something personally autographed was so intriguing to me that was why I ordered my copy. If I don't get my Skyrim OST I will be very crushed. I don't care how long it takes for it to arrive, I just want to have peace of mind that it *IS* going to arrive. The lack of information and lack of communication is what is leaving me wondering if I've just been duped.

Got my Skyrim soundtrack today in the mail. Awesome cover art. Jeremy Soule's sig. is in the cd cover and is in gold ink. A couple days prior my order disappeared on the direct song website, but I am guessing that's there way of saying it has shipped.

Does anyone have Gloria's contact information? Or does anyone know where I can find it? I placed my order on November 19th and have received nothing but a deduction from my credit card.

Flying blind here.

I registered here just to post the reply I got from Directsong:

Hello Janne,

Thank you for your order 25985, 11-30-2011!

We apologize for the delay in shipment and in answering emails. Response to Jeremy Soule's "Skyrim" was 30 times more than we had anticipated. The staff is working double shifts trying to fulfill orders and reply to emails.

Jeremy Soule is personally signing all of the CD’s, as he had promised.

Please allow 5 weeks from order date for shipment.
You will be sent an email upon shipment.
We at Directsong wish you a very, Merry Christmas!

Regards,

Mary

This happened after my second inquire about the order. Still it's quite strange that it takes 5 weeks to ship the CD's... And propably a month more to arrive here in Finland.

Yeah, mine arrived 2 days ago (in Germany) without paying any kind of additional taxes - THAT's how I want it!
Soundtrack is awesome and the autograph really was worth waiting. With that said, for all the other german people out there:

"Der Soundtrack wird auch nach Deutschland ohne große Probleme versandt. Dauert allerding einige Wochen. Keine Sorge, es kommt an!"

I'm slightly confused. Not only did I receive my copy a few days ago, but I also received a second copy I didn't even order today! Now to go check with my bank to see if they took payment twice or something...

I ordered the Skyrim OST December 1st and got an order confirmation right away. Still waiting to receive the package. A coworker had gotten his yesterday (order put in Nov 11th).

I also purchased another soundtrack from DirectSong, but the digital download and a virtual item bundled with the download did not work at all. Clicking on redeem button does nothing at all and download link leads to url with id=null after the page load fails (connection to server reset, to all of their multiple download servers).
I've emailed DirectSong about this issue twice with tracert information and everything, but haven't received any help aside from "we have resetted your download, please try again" when I can't even get any download to start. I'll probably ask for a refund. A bit crappy service if I may say and won't be purchasing from their store again.

Skyrim Soundrack..Never Received

Post by ginger1973wine »

Hello!
I hope someone out there can help? I bought the skyrim soundrack from directsong for a present for my husband back in January 2013 this year via paypal. I noted that they said it could take up to 6 weeks to reach me here in the UK.
Its now April 2013...and no sound track has arrived..I have emailed them, and I just get an automated reply. I also raised a claim with Paypal but because it was so long ago I can't dispute it.

Its really bad! in the grand scheme of things £30 ish..isnt huge..but they took my money any hoo!

Please can anyone advise me?
thanks everso!

Have you tried calling them? Instead of Email?

If you able to get in contact with customer service, you should be able to give them a tracking number, or confirmation number of some sort. At least you'd get a person to talk too with straight forward answers.

Other then that, I somewhat don't know what to tell you....Good choice for a soundtrack though! :)
