It can only be Morrowind.
As time goes by I find myself increasingly disinclined to even play Skyrim, to the point of practically having to force myself. At this point I'm basically playing just so I can watch its review on the Escapist without worrying about spoilers -_-

Re: Skyrim Vs Morrowind
Morrowind and Skyrim are tied, and I don't even want to talk about Oblivion. If Skyrim could be remade with Morrowind's complex and LONGER questlines and Morrowind remade with Skyrim's engine and graphics I would never play any other games, period.

Re: Skyrim Vs Morrowind
Morrowind is the least generic. Oblivion was kind of lame because all the cities were the same, and all the monsters were very cliche, i.e. minotaurs, goblins, ogres. Skyrim is less generic than Oblivion, but still a little stale: you still have the same old trolls and giants bears and wolves. The only real individual monster is the chaurus.
In comparison, Morrowind was very alien. It had all these cool creatures, and all the cities had varied architecture. The landscapes were phenomenal (I loved the giant mushrooms), and everything seemed very well done.
Skyrim and Oblivion are both good games (especially Skyrim), but Morrowind takes the cake. As for modding, Oblivion could be VASTLY improved through mods, almost to the extent that it was equal to Morrowind. I'm sure I'll do the same with Skyrim.

That's what I feel like they were trying to recreate with SI. While it doesn't have that same Morrowind feel, the environment is definitely more alien than Oblivion.Mod-Loving Wood Elf wrote:Morrowind is the least generic.
