I'm Back....

Post by MyDireLife »

So after half a year of my xbox crashing i finally decided to pick up a 360. But i knew i wouldnt have a conection to xbox live for a while, and i know you need to download an update from there to be able to have backwards capability, So i looked around on the xbox homesite, and turns out you can just burn a disk with the update on it and slap it in ur xbox and it will work just fine. Which is awesome, cuz i dont have to wait until i get a xbox live conection!

But anyways didnt really have time last night to start a fresh character, But i prolly will tonight. O how i missed you Tel Vos....

Well, I've been away for a while too, for about three months I believe, but that was a long time ago.

It’s truth, man. You never know when the same old faces will turn up again.

(first post in the Morrowind boards)

I kinda just experienced a similiar return. I've had the 360 for a year or so, but no broadband connection. Now I've had the connection for a while, there was no update for Morrowind GoY edition (the only version I will ever play... ). Didn't check for a while... and now?

Hey presto! GoY works fine. (haven't played it for a good year or two)
I still have the Thieves, Mages, and Telvanni to go through... but I'm finding it tough; no fast travel, no sword scabbard, no bow on my back, rubbish fighting, dodgy controls...

But oh the joy of layering clothes, and the much more sensible inventory system... and the presence of a genuine story... and Dunmer who sound like proper Dark Elves.

I don't. Up to now I have not had a marksman character, but I have just made a khajiit thief who has a minor in marksman.

Don't know if I will like it, but time will tell.

My characters are always mages, marksman is always the last skill I level.

Because I have a restore magicka spell( glitch) and with 500 max magicka you can do a helluva lot more damage.

Yeah, if you drain your intelligence the magicka for that amount of intelligence will be restored when the effect ends because the game assumes magicka was drain as well, or because of poor programming.

well i haven't got to Oblivion yet, but as i read here on Wiki there are far more serious glitches there that even make the game crash. so i owuld say morrowind is quite OK with it's smaller bugs and quirks. it's just so big that obviously they haven't looked everything form all angles when making it.

They probably didn't have the time.
When I make a game or program or whatever I try to make sure it will work the way I want it to in any situation, but that takes a lot of time and I don't have deadlines, the guys at bethesda do.
