Re: Your Biggest Flaw
I just want to apologize now if I end up writing an essay here. I sometimes end up rambling about every little thing...
I honestly think my problem is I'm too nice to people. Now obviously, I'm nice to random strangers who I don't know, so saying Thank you to the waiter who gets me my drink, or Thanks to the bagger who bags my groceries, but to me, it seems like if there's someone I really don't want to deal with, I can't just tell them to leave me alone (Unless they're really [&@%!] me off. That's my other problem, I get mad very easily). For example, there's this one guy at school. He's alright, but sometimes he's just really annoying, and always feels the need to tell me something, or try having a (usually one-sided) conversation with me. I'll usually just shake my head and say "a-huh, yep" hoping he'll get the hint and realize I really don't care what he has to say. He also feels the need to add a stupid comment on all of my facebook status, but I can't bring myself to tell him to stop.
Luckily, I think I'm getting out of my procrastination habits. I usually finish all of my homework (usually in class), and so far I have no incomplete or missing assignments, but sometimes I just can't bring myself to take notes, or do the rest of my work if it's really boring.
I also hate most people. Almost everyone at my school annoys me, and even the people I associate with at school annoys me. Sometimes, I truly wander why I hangout with them, and have long arguments with them in my head, which is basically me just listing everything that annoys me about them. Again though, I can't bring myself to tell them what I think about them though, 'cause I'm afraid that they'll end up hating me, and I'll have even less friends. Hell, most of my friends I don't really consider friends. They're just people I tolerate. This is basically why I'm really quiet in real life. I don't like talking to people I don't like, so I just sit quietly in most of my classes, do my work, then read. I rarely even answer questions, even if it seems like I'm the only one who knows the answer.
Another flaw which I think I have (which I mentioned above) is that I always over analyze things in my head, or have long, drawn out arguments in my head. Hell, I was imaging what I would type in this very sentence. Sometimes I just think to myself, but it's like I'm really talking to someone else. I think to myself things like, "Well, you see," or, "You know, if you just do this," things like that. As if I'm really talking to someone else in my head. Maybe this isn't really a flaw though, and just a trait of mine, but sometimes it does cause me anguish, like if I'm debating myself whether some chick likes me, or what will happen if I do something that might have unknown, unwanted outcomes.

I become agitated by people very easily.
Oh, and I also have a black spot on one of my eyes that I've always disliked.

Wow ... that's definitely quirky. Quirky's good though. What's the cause?Nightingale wrote:Oh, and I also have a black spot on one of my eyes that I've always disliked.
Oh yeah, flaws. I suppose I tend to switch very heavily between being a show-off in one context and far too meek in another. They say an important part of learning is asking questions; well, a lot of the time, I just won't do that. But when I'm supposed to be debating a point, which of course requires at least two sides, I often talk far too loudly and for too long. Sometimes I wish I was a bit more definable. Being adaptable is all well and good, but sometimes I feel like I don't have a definite personality.

I have no idea. The doctors never bothered with it too much, and it's not easy to miss, so it's nothing bad I suppose.Wow ... that's definitely quirky. Quirky's good though. What's the cause?
Let me single it out on a picture, maybe someone here would know what it is.

It doesn't affect vision or anything, though I do wear glasses. I dunno.

I suck at math. I have a knack of telling jokes that only I find funny. I spend too much time creating maps for Heroes of Might & Magic III

I procrastinate. Big time!
Social anxiety.
I'm horrible at maths. I'm pretty sure I have dyscalculia.
I suck at school in general tbh.

Re: Your Biggest Flaw
Thought of a few more! (was also reminded of a few after re-reading the thread).
I'm terrified of spiders, any insect really, but mostly spiders. (Yes I consider that a flaw.)
From what a friend has told me, I'm very cold hearted. Might be some truth to that as I've admitted it several times. It's not that I want to be, it's just I don't really care. >_>
Loud noise. I have no idea why, but loud noise just terrifies me.
I end up regretting a lot of stuff I do, not sure what this comes down to, but yeah.
Lazy. Nothing motivates me anymore and I get bored with stuff rather quickly. Like for example; I'm interested in drawing but, after looking up some tutorials, I just didn't feel like it anymore.

Re: Your Biggest Flaw
hahaha sounds like me too. Just recently, for the math exam I had, I had to go through the whole theory and exercises in 3-4 days, with my record of doing 8 hours of it in a day. I didn't go to classes because it was a course where the teacher wasn't actually teaching, you had to read the book yourself and ask him questions if you had any. Needless to say, I don't want to try that ever again.kailay wrote:I procrastinate. Big time!
Otherwise I have the bad tendency to not think before speaking, so I don't have to be drunk to talk [&@%!]. Sometimes it's just embarrassing because it made no sense or was out of context, particularly when talking about sciences. It's not rare that I regret saying or doing something. It's also embarrassing when I try to approach or socialize with girls that interest me as I never know what to say. Last time I was surprised I did not scare her.

Re: Your Biggest Flaw
I guess my biggest flaw is I don't have much self-confidence. I say I'm bad at this so I play bad. But that mainly happens in real life so video games is where I excell. Did I spell that correctly "excell"? Eh oh well.
Re: Your Biggest Flaw
I'm failing algebra, and it is all nyk's fault!
He is the one that brought me to uesp which caused the chain reaction of me going onto a steam thread making me make a steam account making me get a crap load of games making me a procrastinator.
I also blame everything on someone else.

I'm too contented with quietude. I try to break silence to be polite and such though, but other times it's obvious that I choose silence.
I'm slow to warm up with people but also try to present them with the kind of personality and qualities I see in other people that make me happy as well. I try to reciprocate that, but it puts a drain on my social energy as it were.
I also distract myself with lots of hobbies, yet only dabbling in each without much to show for it.

I'm left-handed... or wait, that's not a flaw.
Well, then my extreme lazyness.
This "flaw" is quite popular as I see.
