Is there a Skyrim LP in which the player doesn't suck?

I've started watching 3 Let's Plays of Skyrim on Youtube. They all seem to be casual players who don't even understand that you should sell the 20 copies of weapons you're not using. TobyGames is the biggest newb, although I would be his friend in real life cuz he's so funny and cool. But is there a Let's Play of someone who's actually played WRPGs before and gets how they work?

I actually find the newbness the appealing thing in LPs. It's boring to watch a guy that knows everything, and just shows you everything in a bored way.

The Skyrim LP's that you can watch right now suck because it's all LP noobs who are putting them up. You'll have to wait a while before a good LPer will put Skyrim up. You're not supposed to make an LP until a certain amount of time has passed after a game's release. Every experienced LPer knows, but it's one of those rules that nobody really mentions unless it gets broken.

It's a good way to keep from killing myself until I get Skyrim, so I'm glad they're making them early. I do like watching Toby but he has no new videos yet.

Currently, he's focusing on the DB quests with his archer, but most of his vids are of his pure mage, which he started at level 1. He plays on Master difficulty.

I don't think you understand the point of lps

on topic: As vendetta already stated gix and teamudf are the best ones out there as far as skyrim goes, most lps of skyrim are just people trying to capitalize on the trend.

I'm actually curious, because LPs are something I've only been recently introduced to and I don't think I get it, but...what's the appeal in watching someone else play? Is it for the commentary? I do agree a lot of them are entertaining and hilarious, if you just listen to the commentary. But a great deal of them are just the player blabbing over the game so you can barely hear anything or racing through it. So why are they so cool and popular?

And no, I'm not being a jerk, I'm just genuinely curious about the whole ordeal.

I would kill to see The Yogscast do a thorough LP of Skyrim, but they just did like, the first two quests or so.

And Avvie, I don't know about anyone else, but for me, it's totally the commentary that makes an LP video. The aforementioned Yogscast is BRILLIANT at this, and their Minecraft videos are both informative(the earlier ones, anyone), and very funny.

Commentary is important, but I also like the 'collective effort' of Let's Plays.
Good LP'ers [imo] take their viewers' opinions into account for major decisions. i.e. What to play as, where to go, choices at divergences
Makes "playing" (The only real difference is who pushes the buttons) the game more communal. It's a different experience to playing with only yourself to please- Neither's better or worse.

None of the LP'ers I'm subscribed to are playing Skyrim, and I haven't looked for any tbh, but if Helloween does one I'll watch the hell out of it.

The only Let's Player I watch is Arino, and he's terrible.

Moogleftw is making a lp and some point hes the best. He did one for oblivion it made me lol so hard. He also played morrowind so he is not new to Elderscrolls.

Quite an ambitious lp as it's supposed to become a 100% walkthrough. It's well edited, 1080p and very informative.

gixg17 and toby arethe ones i watch... i dont think gix is that good at playing, but he plays it in sucha a different way. no fast travel, his character has his own strengths and weaknesses. hee roleplays A LOT!
