Your Biggest Flaw
Let's face it. We all are great at bigging ourselves up. (I'm looking at you, me!). But self-hate can often be fun too, and frankly, I can't think of a better conversation starter (on the internet at least) than this: Just what the hell is wrong with you? Low self-esteem? Bad at math? Do you wish you were a slug? Out with it man! There are lives at stake!

I'm a lazy procrastinator. Probably my biggest flaw, and its taking place right now. I have a final due in two hours and I've yet to even start it.

I agree with Scribbane. I lack the part of the brain that gives you the ability to do homework.

One of my weirdest flaws is my fetish for cigarettes. I don't smoke, but I find the image of someone smoking very attractive.

Re: Your Biggest Flaw
I am very, very, very bad at math. Horribly so. I scored in the 14th percentile for math...out of 100. One hundred being the best, of course. Numbers make no sense to me.
But I don't consider that a flaw because it doesn't affect my daily life. (I can do basic, applicable math - that's what counts to me.) My biggest flaw is that I doubt myself. Having very modest beginnings and being from a family full of "failures" and unsuccessful lots, I am afraid of failure, and I am always afraid that it is hanging over me. Even though I enjoy what I do and I am myself naturally, there are many, many times where I get freaked out that what I'm doing just won't work out, I'll be stuck, and unsure of what to do with my life. It's a terrifying feeling.
But I work to conquer it - as we must with all our fears and shortcomings!
Oh. And I live in the US's worst state,Dirty New Jersey...not from here, though. I see what you did there, Cam.

Wolfie's problem brings me to another one of mine - I'm horribly pretentious when it comes to spelling and grammar. I'd like to give a reason why I do it, but the strength is I'm just a bad person. To quote Bugs Bunny, aint I a stinker?

Re: Your Biggest Flaw
I'm a narcissist. But that's only because I'm awesome.
Actually, I'm not as confident as I appear. I suffer from self-doubt often, and never think I'm good enough - mainly because I've had teachers since 8 telling me I could do better. I do well enough, but everyone expected me to push harder. Needless to say I ran out of steam and exploded at some point (don't ask me how you can blow up after running out of steam).

That's called caring Adele. It makes you extremely uncool up until college, where it suddenly becomes incredibly desirable.

To be honest, sometimes I try to overt around girls I like. It only seems to be noticable by me though.

I'm overweight, but curently trying to sort that out, sit ups and the like.
But now leading on, i'll probably give up on that, I seem to have no drive to finish things, but hopefully this'll be different.
I'm a bit of a coward, i've never even asked a girl out, because i'm too [&@%!] scared of the rejection and things being awkward with that person for a very long time.

I'm scared of rejection too. Why do girls have to be so mysterious. Why can they not just say I like you or show some sign.

People should just be blunt. Then again just saying something and waiting for a reaction is something I haven't ever done myself.POMC S117 wrote:I'm scared of rejection too. Why do girls have to be so mysterious. Why can they not just say I like you or show some sign.

Re: Your Biggest Flaw
Depends on the girl you are going after, some of them are very flirty. On the other hand some are very secretive about it, just like a lot of shy guys are.
They could also be showing signs, you just might be reading them the wrong way. Shy guys and girls can tend to not realise the obvious, due to lack of experience with the whole scene. I have a mate who gets a bit flustered around girls, and gets worried that the girl he likes at that time doesn't like him back... even though a blind man could see what was really going on.
Sometimes you just gotta go for it...
