Good roleplaying ideas

hey everyone, ive been playing skyrim for over 100 hours now and have decided its time to do some roleplaying. can anyone give me some really good/interesting ideas

You could roleplay Jsashe, the 3rd era Witch-Queen of Whiterun and Priestess of Lorkhan. In fact, I was planning on doing it at one point. Either that, or making a Fryse hag.

Second, there's a dedicated sub-forum for some great roleplaying tips and threads: http://forums.uesp.net/viewforum.php?f=21 . Take a look, do some reading, ask around - you'll find more ideas than you can shake a staff at.

That is a very, very different thing, my friend. That is a play-by-post roleplay forum. This good user is talking about roleplaying a character within Skyrim.

yeah im looking for more of a character to roleplay within skyrim but thanks anyway fuzzymage there are some good ideas there

i started a new character last night...only at level 4 right now, but so far so good:

playing a Nord whose brother was the personal bodyguard of the high king who Ulfric killed before the game even starts...basically, he's out for revenge and will let nothing stop him in his quest for killing any stormcloak who crosses his path...

while creating my character, i also decided to play him as a maniacal killer (something along the lines of Michael Myers in Halloween)...he's cool to some people, but will murder others just for the hell of it...

it's an interesting character so far...last night i met a courier in the middle of the road and just decided to kill him for his gold necklace...a little while later i let 3 revelers give me a drink and i left them alone...

it's actually kind of fun roleplaying a complete lunatic...

The best roleplay ideas should be a little vague, leaves room for improvisation later.

Some of my favourites ....

1: The betrayed masterless ronin/mercenary looking for a cause, or just a bloody good fight and some wenches/ale/gold.
2: The "avatar" of a god, unborn, a created soul transplanted into an existing mortal body to fulfill some Aedric/Daedric purpose.
3: The deformed mutant, cast from his village, left to die in the wild as a child, grown now and ready to wreak revenge upon the cruel world.
