hard crashes lately Xbox patch 1.1

I have been having hard crashing (everything freezes, not even center "X" button will work, have to press the power button). Sometimes on load screen, sometimes in a forest or city.

After only a few minutes of play, after 10 minutes, after 20 minutes - the Xbox is fresh and cool, I have Not been playing anything for past 12 hours.

install on 8 gig thumb,
70 hour overpowered character (just got dual enchantments and now the game is unplayable)


This nonsense began before Xbox dashboard update.

How good of a flash drive is it? Has it been used much before installing the game to it? It could be a corrupt file on the drive. Try this: move your game saves to the internal memory (if a new box) or a different thumb drive, remove the drive where the game is installed and try running the game from your disc. See if that helps. If so, you may have a corrupted install. If not, you may have a corrupt save.

I started a new game.. after creating and naming character Hadvar and the captain just stare at me, saying nothing...
What is wrong with this game? LOL, at least I've gotten my 60$ out of it, lasted about 30 days...

The saves were on the HD (refurbished 20 gig, never had problems before). Only 3 save files + 3 autos, and deleting autosaves didn't help

The flashdrive was brand new bought for Skyrim, HP brand (IDK if that's good or bad nowadays)

I am going to experiment - clear cache, format everything, clear cache, update to 1.2, try 70 hour save off cd, try new game again, then install back to usb.



update - playing off cd seems to work fine, but only played for ten minutes (killed a dragon, a giant, and 3 mamoths, lol, even with no magic resistance i'm still OP), which is about 8 minutes longer than its been working...

I'll be anxious to see what happens after playing some other games which will fill up the cache, let's see if the game will still work then.
And we'll see what happens when I install it to flash.

Hopefully I'll figure it out before I get mad, trade it for Dark Souls and boycott Fallout 4 (lol, not likely)
