What does your character wear?
Your character is the type to wear only heavy/light armor? Robes? Or he/she likes to use some fancy/ragged cloths while inside the city walls?
My character always wore heavy armour, well apart from a set of Imperial Light Armour at the beggining....
I tryed to dress my character as a normal citizen many times but it just doesn't suit him.
Nowadays he's wearing his proud full set of Dragon Plate Armour.

Re: What does your character wear?
i wear alchemy enchanted jewelry and gloves, with normal boots and stormcloak officer armor in town,
if i go roaming i will wear the same but if i run into trouble i might pull on resist/fortify scale boots and gauntlets,
if i run into big trouble, or a dragon, i will pull on dragonscale armour, helmet, the works, then keep that on till i return to a town.

Re: What does your character wear?
Let's see. Currently I'm strutting around in some steel armor, as I've always been a fan of the heavy armor varieties, being a warrior. And usually I am a fan of changing into clothes when I walk around the cities, but...the possibility of an inevitable dragon attack at any moment has sort of made me think I should be ready for anything at any moment. I'd hate to run into my greatest foes while waltzing around in a tunic and slippers; poor beast might die of laughter, if I don't kill him first. However, since I'm playing a battlemage type, I have an enchanted hood that increases my magicka, and I'll take that off in the cities. No reason to hide that pretty face of mine, after all.
Oh, and I do like to wear a ring here and there. I'm a fan of constantly swapping those out.

Re: What does your character wear?
My first character is a female Imperial assassin who sides with the Stormcloaks. Whenever she goes to Solitude she wears the grey-green clothes and a cowl which matches it, just to look as unremarkable as she can. It is a commoner's look, but the idea is to avoid standing out in a crowd.
It doesn't help that the 'fine' clothing in this game, when worn by female characters, still looks like a mens' smoking jacket.
My second character is a male Breton spellsword who sides with the Legion. Thus, he doesn't need to walk the streets of Solitude in disguise— but this doesn't stop him from wearing a common green/brown outfit not too dissimilar in class nor sophisication from my assassin's daytime costume. My spellsword tends to keep a low profile as well.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Re: What does your character wear?
I see it as a waste of time to change attire all the time for no reason, so I just wear whatever equipment I'm always wearing -- unless it would be beneficial, like throwing on the Masque of Clavicus Vile and Amulet of Zenithar/Dibella in town so they're not taking my magic amulet worth 500 septims for only 100!!
Right now I'm wearing Ancient Nord Armor, because I finally cured my vampirism and wanted to "turn over a new leaf" so I left behind my super-eeeeevil Daedric Armor. Plus I was finally bored with it after almost 40 levels. I might try some other suit of armor that I think looks cool, like the Blades gear.

If they weren't nords, but instead dunmer or redguards, nobody would call them "racist".

Re: What does your character wear?
I tend to change. In cities I usually ware fine clothes and boots to fit with my 'Cyrodiilic Nobility' RP and when I leave the cities (which other than boarding a carriage is rare as I rely on trading only) I switch to my Imperial Armour OR a set of steel. It depends if I am in Stormcloak territory or not.
Other than that, I usually have a guard with me at all times so as to not do the fighting. After all, I am a lord after all.... (And I don't like levelling quickly).

After exploring Nchuand-Zel I gathered enough material to craft an entire set of Dwarven armor, which not only looks kickass but also fits perfectly. After facing down the Falmer and reactivating the ancient defense mechanisms of the buried city, Narzul emerged from the depths clad in the armor of the ancients! Narzul, now known as the Centurion of the Reach, Bane of the Falmer and Scourge of the Forsworn!

Re: What does your character wear?
Whatever is currently my STRONGEST Light Armor, often improved by me. Some Light Armor (Elven in particular,) is stylish enough for walking around town while still keeping me prepared for those pesky dragon attacks. Plus the Ring of Hircine, not that anyone seems to be aware of THAT little gem. >:)

Re: What does your character wear?
I'm fond of the custom enchanted Mourner's Dress with silver jewelry, though sometimes I switch things up with the red version of the standard 'Clothes'. If I'm facing serious danger I wear deadric or ebony helmet, gloves, and boots overtop of it. I do my best to make my character look darkly aristocratic, and don't worry so much about armor ratings.

Re: What does your character wear?
Similar to the Vigilant: Robes (usually Adept style), light armored boots and gloves, hood or circlet. Specifically, he's wearing:
Adept Robes of Destruction
Glass Boots (w/ Feather)
Ancient Shrouded Gloves
Circlet (w/ +Mana)
Ring and Necklace of +Stam Regen
He rarely ever uses body armor, and has been known to parade about the city of Solitude clad in the Emperor's finest vestments. Oddly enough, despite having a ton of magic enhancers, he's not a very magic-heavy character, and has had access to far more powerful (but far less stylish) robes for months now, all of which are collecting dust in various storage chests.
