What happened to Crassius Curio?
Alright, so he wasn't exactly a savory type and clearly a homosexual stereotype, but he was funny and the Lusty Argonian Maid is a hit - it's a success by all means, seeing how it's still published (or at least in existance) a good 206 years after its initial release.
What do you think happened to him (aside from being dead, obviously, but he could have died of old age or something else, like when the Ministry of Truth fell on Vivec city)?
Funniest hyphotesis gains a Fish Stick.
PS: In Oblivion, which happened 6 years after the events in Morrowind, we're told the Nerevarine made the journey to Akavir. What do you think happened to him?
PPS: If you don't care about Lore and don't know what this thread is about, ignore it. This is aimed at Morrowind fans.

Re: What happened to Crassius Curio?
Great topic! Uncle Crassius is quite the character.
I moved this to the TES General subforum since it's a more general question and covers a few games. If you prefer it somewhere else just let us know. (Maybe the Morrowind subforum would be better?)
First question: What happened to Crassius Curio? Well, Hlaalu was a very profitable and successful House. Focusing just on the Houses seen on Vvardnfell and thus in the game Morrowind, unlike the Redoran, they weren't plagued with traditional virtues (and probably a collapse in their ideals when the Tribunal collapsed, as they were a pious and religious House); unlike the Telvanni, they weren't isolated and as peculiar. They decided to go on a very successful option, that being one of profit, and they sure as hell profited over the Empire moving into Vvardenfell. Curio probably lived a comfortable, happy life.
Of course, it's important to remember the Oblivion Crisis struck all over the Empire, so gates also opened in the other provinces. The city of Ald'ruhn, home of House Redoran's council seat, for example, was destroyed by a gate that opened there. So perhaps Curio was one of the unlucky ones.
Second question: The Nerevarine? Eh, he or she met the fate of all TES Heros: going on his own way and somehow managing to sneak into obscurity. Akavir is a mysterious land full of plenty of adventure. The possibilities are endless!

He lived long enough to write a second volume of The Lusty Argoinian Maid. Still read 200 years later.
Calling it now, he's the Shakespeare of Tamriel!

Do you mind? I'm doing the fishstick. It's a very delicate state of mind.

He met his demise in an unfortunate event involving a Deadra worshipper, a priest of Akatosh, a mage's staff & tub of scrib jelly.
I used to be an adventurer, but then I broke my GF's IPhone 4 & she mutilated me in a rather personal manner

He took an arrow to the knee.
Nah but seriously. He was abducted by Sheogorath, whom he now plays chess against on thursdays.

I used to make polls, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

He discovered that the real money was in writing books about teenage vampires and other angsty creatures and started a series called 'Winged Twilight'...

To present my idea in song (Cassius being a creative type);
Oh come on, that's hardly creative (or polite). You can do better! - Avron the S'wit

Re: What happened to Crassius Curio?
I'm going to guess that Crassius got owned by an Ogrim warrior transported into Tamriel by Mehrunes Dagon whilist writing Volume III of 'The Lusty Argonian Maid', in which the characters become self-aware and attacked an actor meant to represent Mr. Curio.
As for the Nerevarine, we can all just assume that his ship was sunk during a storm on the way over to Akavir.

Re: What happened to Crassius Curio?
He had two grand, new ideas, for two new, grand plays! One was to be called Amorous Atronach Aria, followed by Killer Kiss of the Kynval. But, overachiever that he was, wanted perfect accuracy. So, he went for help from Daedra worshipers, and hasn't been seen since.
If they weren't nords, but instead dunmer or redguards, nobody would call them "racist".
