Vigilance
When I originally bought Skyrim, I didn't care for the fact you could have a dog. I didn't really see the point. And indeed, in 100 hours, I only bought a dog once (in the last hour, in fact).
The chosen hound was Vigilance. He was only 500 coins, and I ran into him by accident. So I decided, why not? At worst, I've wasted a very small amount of money. At best, it'll be fun to Fus Ro Dah him off a cliff, right?
I love the little [&@%!].
At first, I didn't care. But together, we fought a dragon. Or, I did. The cheeky bugger showed up after the fight was over. I laughed, but ignored him.
Sneaking my way through a Dragur crypt, I heard a noise from behind me. "Oh crap..." I turned around, just in time to see Vigilance bite the head (metaphorically) off a dragur.
So, this is a love thread for the dogs of Skyrim. You keep us lonely Dovahkiins (Dovahkiini sounds like a Dragon Bikini) company!

Re: Vigilance
Wondering if there's a Stoop and Scoop law in Skyrim.
I used to do that voluntarily, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

Re: Vigilance
Funny. I find it so easy to get attached to the characters in Skyrim... not to say that I don't dispose of them when necessary

Re: Vigilance
man... Vigilance died like 2 minutes after i got him. I bought him and then just down the road from Markarth Stables, some Orc wanted a "honourable death". Vigilance died in a fight with him. Maybe just my bad luck
