I am doing the final Thieves Guild quest that requires me to follow the Pilgrims Path. I have talked to the Nightingale Sentinal of Gallus, and he told me to return the Skeleton Key, and of course gave a dumb reason that he cannot come with me.

I have arrived to a park of the dungeon that is a big room with lots of platforms connected by stairs. There are dead bandits laying on the floor, it's dark and foggy kind of, and when I walk on the floor I get shocked and loose large amounts of HP. Wtf do I do !? ):

Sprint from raised platform to raised platform, avoiding the pressure plates if possible.

Try to stay in the shadows and use a torch or something to see the trap triggers

Yeah that seems to be the real trick. Gallus mentions a journal that probably has that info in it, but apparently it's pretty easy to miss (I missed it).

Aye, avoid the light.

While we're at it, am I the only one who was extremely disappointed by the thieves guild? I mean, you didn't really...STEAL that much. No ultimate heist or anything...I kind of expected something like this from the College of Winterhold, which would've fit much better.
I used to make polls, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

That's actually not the last quest for the guild. You can continue the questline afterwards, and you'll get special jobs once you do a whole lot of side jobs.
Stay out of the light as much as possible, or else you'll be scripted to pretty much die from a frost trap. Took me ages to figure that one out...
