Thanks to daedric armor, we no longer need dozens of "tehevilsexyevil armorz" plugins stinking up TES mod sites.
If they weren't nords, but instead dunmer or redguards, nobody would call them "racist".

Strange it's feminine enough for me infact all armor seems to conform to your character's body type.j31c3n wrote:That is not at all what I said. I only want Dwarven armor to look comfortable. Best looking armor in my opinion is definitely daedric
you can just call me "Drog Dovah Kriid". Message me if you know what this means.

Really like the elven armor, reading the previous posts I'm not the only one let down by the dragon bone armor, however I must say the dragon bone shield looks awesome. Not seen any daedric anythings yet and I'm level 30!!! One thing I'd like Beth to add to the game or smithing is the ability to engrave your own pattern/symbol into your armor. Could also boost the economy or reduce cost of armor through a sort of medieval walking advertisement displaying the smiths logo. Just a thought.

The one time I wore Dwarven armor to check the looks on my female Khajiit character it showed me what I can only assume was a male armor model. I'll have to check it again.Berzerker wrote:Strange it's feminine enough for me infact all armor seems to conform to your character's body type.j31c3n wrote:That is not at all what I said. Re: what do you think of the new armor?
i only have one negative thing to say about daedric armor... well two actually. first, its the back of the helmet. it comes to a wierd point that i dont see the purpose of, then again im just being nit picky. second, when having the full set of armor equipped, and while having everything sheathed in stand normal mode, the shield is too big and kinda sticks through my characters leg. again just silly things that bug me, but ive started using duel wield sword/dagger anyways so that one is not as important. with nightingale armor there are these two tiny blue spots where you eyes would be that creeps me out. also to clarify i love dragon bone armor, except the helm. armor = good , helm = stupid. if only they had the robes
i would be so happy. i can go to all kinds of dark, naughty places RP'ing with that outfit on a femal char. whew. i meen seriously, besides he face, have you seen her????? gosh i need to stop. anyways...

Ebony... is awesome.. I always get a full chub on when I wear ebony... the ebony bow is the best looking also. I'm playing a stealth so it's light armor for me... so I use the thieves guild master armor... smithed up as high as it can.. I like it heaps, only half a chubby though...
Re: what do you think of the new armor?
im not a fan of the new armours they are all pretty generic. I thought the purpose of combining the two pieces was to get more variations of single bodied armour, Im not seeing that. Not all similar armour types should appear the same. Example: Elven Helmet = YUCK , or steel armour etc, couldnt they have made a few variations of the helmet or variations of steel armour? Long sleved, short sleved, gems added, different patterns, horns added etc. Also, When I upgrade the armour it looks no different, all those levels (superior, legendary, etc) should have some type of visual difference. This goes the same with weapons. Dont get me wrong, the acutal look of the armour is much better than Obilvion but what we were promised, Im just not seeing, Id much perfer my two piece armour back please.

I have to say, Iron is my favourite armour. I despise the look or Orcish and Ebony. And don't get me started on both of their weapons. Iron is just... good in my opinion. I find it hard to wear anything but Iron or the Blades armour.

YES!Iceborn wrote:Seriously? You'd like a Dwarven Thong & Corset for female characters or something AWESOME along those lines?
All fantasy everywhere would do well to bring back the chainmail bikinis and stripper princesses with lazor-beam swords riding war flamingos, rather than dung-covered farmers farming dung fields. BROWN IS NOT FANTASTIC, AND NEITHER IS POOP.
Where are the draconic scribes and werewolf barkeepers? Where are the landshark-riding-gnome lawkeepers and the triple-crowned king with three heads? Where are my gold and cyan castles riding on translucent green and pink discs in the sky that wage war on one another with frickin' lazor-beams?
BRING ON THE FANTASY!!

I agree a little bit of sex appeal can go a long way in a game. A few well dressed women just might make you cheat on your wife, and boy does that sound like a fun quest! Where's the overly sexy mage that doesnt need to wear much. Or the evil sexy vampire? These are classics you cant ignore.

Re: what do you think of the new armor?
While I mostly like the armour, it's damned annoying that my female character is shown the male version of the armour in the menu. Like, my Foresworn torso/leg gear looks like a fairly reasonable and practical furry, skull-belted shirt and skirt in the menu, but then it turns into a stripperiffic garment of strings, feathers and precious little fur when my character actually wears it.
Also, it bothers me that the game system basically says "Here's a warehouse of cool armour, now proceed directly to the one thing you can wear without disadvantaging your character". I'd like a combine feature to get the looks of one armour with the usefulness of another, assuming you possess both.

My preferred pronouns are cie and hir.

Re: what do you think of the new armor?
I haven't seen the dragonscale/bone armors yet, and I'm not going to look them up until I can make them myself (got enough spoilers accidentally, I don't need another), but I love the glass one. My only problem is with it's helm, it looks kind of like elven, not the actual one, but I'd say it was that if I just looked at it :/ Well, nothing beats the Morrowind glass armor set, but at least this one doesn't look like a badly done plastic toy from China like the Oblivion version...
Oh, and my little bosmer guy looks unreasonably bulky in any kind of armor... poor thing, he probably has it stuffed with leather strips to fit him, though I don't know why he wouldn't make them form-fitting if he makes them himself.
Edit: I was going to comment something nasty about the sexy thong wearing wargirls, but then I got a mental image of a sexy thong wearing warlad, and I think I'd be too much of a hypocrite if I berated you guys... XD
...so both or neither!

Sadly, not all body types can do justice to fine tailoring. Remember Maglir the Bosmer in Oblivion? He always looked like Porky the Pig in armour.NLN wrote:Oh, and my little bosmer guy looks unreasonably bulky in any kind of armor... poor thing, he probably has it stuffed with leather strips to fit him, though I don't know why he wouldn't make them form-fitting if he makes them himself.

Re: what do you think of the new armor?
my personal favorite is fully upgraded daedric armor ( without the helm )It isnt really pretty, but it gives wonderful protection. Not sure what was meant about ebony weapons. i've got an ebony greatsword that once i upgraded it to legendary, it gives 150 points of damage. Thats only two less than the enchanted daedric great sword, and two more than the honed and enchanted great sword of red eagle.. That aint shabby..
