what do you think of the new armor?

i really like the scaled light armour, the horned version especially (which unfortunately you can't seem to upgrade like the normal one),
and i like the stormcloak officer gear a lot,
fur and hide are okay, but otherwise i prefered the oblivion version of pretty much all other types, except maybe ebony, and actually havent seen much dwarven so im still undecided about that one,
but glass looks like [&@%!], and im not overly keen on the dragonscale i just found either.

I personally like Glass. I do agree with you on the scaled armor. Probably my favorite light armor for a "warrior" look. I love Ebony on the heavy side. That is probably my favorite overall; however, I am not crazy about Ebony weapons.

Yeah, the Ebony weapons are garbage. I like the Ebony Bow design, but everything else is naff- especially the One Handed Sword, which looks like you're hitting the enemy with a club.

Overall, the armor looks pretty good, but the weapon designs need an overhaul. As far as armor goes, my favorite designs are probably the Orcish and the various advanced Steel/ Plate/ Scale armors. The Glass looks alright, but I much prefer the Oblivion version, and the Ebony is cool enough. As for weapons, I really don't like any of them, save perhaps the Steel/ Skyforged weapon sets.

Not crazy about the glass set, it's lacking the bright green hue, but anything is an improvement over the glass helm from Oblivion.

I love how most of the Heavy Armor sets look, I'd Orcish is my favorite. The only thing I would ask for would be more open-faced helms for the Heavy Armor sets, I want to see my Khajiit's face. I haven't really worn a lot of Light Armor, so I'll hold my opinion on Elven/Dragon-scale until I start up my Khajiit Ranger

I like all of the armor, honestly. My only gripes (thus far) are these: I wish it were possible to obtain or create versions of hide, fur, and scaled light armor without that big ol' leather skirt. I also wish Dwarven armor came for the ladies.

I love everything else, especially the new Glass armor. Best looking Glass cuirass yet; I just wish (oh, look, another gripe!) there was a shoulderpadless version, like with the Light Elven stuff the Thalmor agents wear.

I am a huge fan of the new robe style. I never have cared for the long flowing dresses of previous games.

Elven is probably my favorite armor.

I remember not being happy at first when they announced that the chest and leg pieces are merged aka like fallout but it makes the armors look more unique and detailed. The Orc armor is the one that I want my hands on.

I haven't come across any of the high-end armor yet, but my favorite armor so far is definitely the steelplate armor.

Well... i managed to craft a Dragonscale armor last night...but i dont really like it...my favorite still remains

As for regular armor..stormcloack seems pretty cool, and the horned helmet from the iron armor set...dont know about the rest yet

I miss the look of Morrowind Glass but the new Ebony and Deadric are awesome. Not a big fan of the dragon styles. Really missing Ice armor. A little disappointed with the Cuirass of the Savior's Hide. Over all though I think it's pretty nice. Also very pleased with steel.

i hate dragon bone armor... the helm really kills it =/ ... i like dragon scale though. daedric looks awesome. actually instead of listing all the ones i like..... i do not like that leather armor has a skirt. i do not like that you can not make steel plate armor (as far as i know)... and ebony looks good to mee except the helm. it looks wierd to me idk

I think the problem with the dwarven armor is that there's no difference between the female and male version (that I have noticed) like the other armors so it just looks more masculine.

The new Ebony armor looks great, as does the Orcish. The Dwarven armor is pretty sweet.

I like the look of the Daedric armor if you're going for an evil/mercenary type. My favorite overall look though is with the Imperial officer set. Love the Roman flavor to it.

Btw..Orcish boots/gauntlets/helm mixed with Blades armor/shield is badass.

You can make it with the Advanced Armors perk, which you can find in the Light armor tree available at level 50.

My favorite armor is the Ebony Mail. Very slick and better than the vanilla ebony armor in my opinion. On the other end of the spectrum, I also love the jester outfit. As for the rest, I have mixed opinions.

ahh, i never touched the light armor side of the perk tree. dosnt seem worth it though. thanks though. i like also am somewhat mad about shrouded armor. They made it look like an emo kids skinny jeans with a way too tight shirt. looks kinda funny on my buff nord sneak tank. =/

I have to say my favorite design is Elven. I just love how the whole set flows and looks, especially on an elf (my Dunmer.)

That said, for being the 100 perk of Smithing, Dragon Armor could have been much better looking.

Of course, all this doesn't REALLY matter, I rarely leave first-person view. So taking that into account, everything looks as good as I think it does.

That is not at all what I said. I only want Dwarven armor to look comfortable. I can't imagine it'd be fun smashing oneself into something not meant for your body.
