East Empire Company Warehouse
The East Empire Company Warehouse is located just by Solitude, and I wanna know if this place is actually a warehouse ?
I was doing a quest for the Thieves Guild that sent me there to follow a particular NPC, and I did end up looting some stuff on the shelves, but what I wanna know is;
Can I go back later, and loot the place ? Will it have good loot to steal and sell, and possibly replace some of my gear with ?
The reason I ask, is 'cause I enjoyed looting the Vivec Vaults in Morrowind, and I think it'd be super fun to do the same in Skyrim. Are there any other warehouses in this game that can fall victim to my slippery hands ? ;D

Re: East Empire Company Warehouse
As far as I know there's no reason you shouldn't be able to loot this place, but the actual haul is a little lackluster.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

What do you mean exactly by "lackluster" ? And also, will the loot be worth it do you think ?Pilaf The Defiler wrote:As far as I know there's no reason you shouldn't be able to loot this place, but the actual haul is a little lackluster.

I do believe he told you how worth the loot is by calling it lackluster.
If they weren't nords, but instead dunmer or redguards, nobody would call them "racist".

No, no, no. He said the HAUL was lackluster, not the loot. It's a common misconception.

Re: East Empire Company Warehouse
In the simplest possible terms it's not remarkably different from any other dungeon or base you can loot. The best source of income in the game by far are dragon scales/bones, the copious amounts of gold dropped by the dragons themselves and other high level enemies like giants, or completing quests for guilds. I combed that warehouse over pretty well and didn't find any remarkable loot that was worth my time. A few potions, a little gold ,one or two enchanted weapons, etc. I may have overlooked some stuff but it was lackluster.

I feel like you're being snarky with me -_- ... I've seen you spaz on people repeatedly lately, and I hope you're not being a smartass here, because again ... I recall you getting mad at me and calling a mod into the topic because I was being snappy.Iaius Amaius Heron wrote:I do believe he told you how worth the loot is by calling it lackluster.
Like I said, I really hope you're not being a jerk and that it just comes off that way since it is just text and there's no tone or body language to read.
Ah, well I won't bother then. But what level were you when you raided it ?Pilaf The Defiler wrote:In the simplest possible terms it's not remarkably different from any other dungeon or base you can loot. Re: East Empire Company Warehouse
I would recommend raiding the warehouse, there is one item in there that is perhaps not too valuable money wise, but it's kind of a collectable.

Hmm, you have poked my interest ... Maybe I'll dabble into the warehouse once I am out of this God forsaken Dwemer Ruin.AeraDunmerMoon wrote:I would recommend raiding the warehouse, there is one item in there that is perhaps not too valuable money wise, but it's kind of a collectable.

I'm guessing you would never insult homosexuals by using "gay" as an insult, so why are you so cavalier about insulting the mentally handicapped int he same manner? Is it because they are less able to defend themselves, hmm?mcjordalini wrote:spaz

I thought there were quests that would allow you to work for that warehouse and rebuild it?
I just poked my head in once and didn't spend too much time, but that was my impression

Re: East Empire Company Warehouse
I was level 35 at least when I did this quest, probably 38 or so. I may have missed some sections. I'm not aware of the collectible item. I may go back for it. Still, like I said, there's quicker ways to make money if that's your goal. There's some skooma in there if you collect or anything, but it's hardly unique to this dungeon.

Pretty sure the expression is "pique my interest". And a haul is composed of loot, is English your first language?
