Do you mind? I'm doing the fishstick. It's a very delicate state of mind.

Re: Post Picture of your Character
Nothing fancy. Just the character I made when I began playing. Just doing everything I can with him. Will eventually make a proper character once Bethesda fixes the current issues in the game, as I don't think I can do a serious play-through until it's fixed. Either way, a Breton Assassin/Mage.
Despite attempting to make a mage, he ended up more like a proper assassin. >.>

It's a fairly terrible photo, but I just did it real quick whilst my game took it's time freezing.

You guys know you can take the best pics around Riverwood (has the best lighting) at either about 7.30 in the morning or 7 in the evening or so. Face the rising or setting sun respectively (directly east or directly west) to get the light on your face.
I'll bring some more pics tomorrow. I've been a busy boy. Remade my character in the OP to look more sinister and also made a sexy Nord babe.

Its a way of saying that I find the characters posted here, and the tidbits of information about them given, to be interesting. I'm not saying that everyone should post their backstory, or that I came here to see that.Assassin540 wrote:If that's what your interested in this is the wrong topic lol

Nah, man. Your Argonian is looking lusty. Just kidding. Really, though. She's very well designed! I was afraid Argonians were too lizard like. That the switch to higher end graphics meant the scales would become a little too real! But she seems to be a nice balance, seems you can most certainly imitate regular hair now. Good character.Rynkar wrote:Uuuh....only 2 things are clearly visible, the top of the head and.....other features.Squiver wrote:It's a fairly terrible photo, but I just did it real quick whilst my game took it's time freezing.

Re: Post Picture of your Character
Name: Thorne (first name unknown)
Race: Nord
Background: Part of the Thorne family lineage which dates back to early beginnings of Tamriel. His family is interwined within many of the huge events which shaped life as it is now known in the Fourth Era. His great, great, great, great Grandfather is said to have taken part in the events during the Oblivion Crisis in the Third Era. Rumors of his family's involvement within the time of Dagoth Ur's entrapment within Red Mountain are widespread as well.
This photo was said to have been taken on the 15th of Hearthfire outside of the city walls of Markarth within Skyrim. As you can see, he dawns a crimson mask of bloodshed. One of his previous victims looks to have been reaching out upon Thorne's face for mercy. That mercy was not to come, as the victim's last gasp of breathe was had. Scars from battle are shown throughout and the loss of his left eye indentifies him on sight. Current whereabouts unknown. Proceed with caution if you happen to come in contact with him. His weapon of choice is dual War Axes of the highest quality.

Re: Post Picture of your Character
Made him about a week ago, but still technically my new character. Looks too much like my old one, but I suppose that's not really a bad thing....
Texture quality for that tunic is horrible, though. -_-;
Not much of a background story really, still piecing that together as I play. For now he simply investigates any magical disturbances, as well as hunting necromancers and witches and undead. Other than that, he does odd jobs for people, he needs to make money to survive somehow.
His name would be Allen. Race is Breton. Focusing on Restoration, Alteration, One Handed Swords, Conjurations, Enchanting, as well as Sneak, Lockpicking, and Speech.

Re: Post Picture of your Character
Octavia Vilegrave
Class – troubled teenager
Race – breton (half imperial though, which is where she got the dragon blood – she is a distant descendant from Talos himself, one of his [&@%!] children was her ancestor)
Skills – Conjuration (necromancy), Restoration, Alteration, Enchant, One Handed (single axe), Sneak (only the basics for stealth kills by hand), (no armor)
Guilds – Dark Brotherhood, College of Winterhold
Back-story – Octavia is from the Imperial City. Her mother was a breton and her father an imperial. Her mother was a skilled necromancer and taught Octavia well in the dark arts. Her father was a skilled rogue, but more importantly he was a vampire, and he taught Octavia how to use weapons and the art of creeping silently. Even though Octavia was not a vampire, she shared her father’s taste for human flesh – something she inherited through being vampire spawn. Octavia and her mother wanted to become vampires, but her father said the ritual must be just right, and she’d have to wait until her 16th birthday before they’d be ready. Octavia had only just turned 15 now, so still a way to go.
So here they were, a cozy and happy little family of deadra worshippers living in an apartment in the market district of the Imperial City. The Mages Guild there had always hated and feared Octavia’s mother because she was a necromancer, and the family knew to watch out for any Mages Guild personnel who might give them trouble.
One night, Octavia’s father had brought his dinner home with him – some drunken sailor who had pulled up in the docks. Octavia’s father drained him dry, killing him. So her mother thought it’d be amusing to reanimate the corpse, and did just that. Octavia, who was quite hungry herself, used her own necromancy skills to command the thrall to cut his belly open and cook up his liver for dinner. But just as Octavia was sitting down at the dinner table for a nice meal of liver fried with onions and fresh bread (and the thrall of course was having some too), the Imperial City guard burst through the door! A dark elf snitch from the Mages Guild was with them. By what the guard was screaming as they stormed the place, they were hunting a vampire. The dark elf must have found out Octavia’s necromancer mother’s husband was a vampire and called the guard. But with the dead body, cannibalism, vampire – the whole family was going down. The city guard had caught them off guard, and Octavia’s mother and father were slaughtered then and there. But Octavia managed to escape by jumping out the window. She fled into the Great Forest, north to Bruma.
At Bruma, Octavia met hard times. She had no gold, and the Imperial City guard were still hunting the “Red Chef” (as the Black Horse Courier called her after the news hit about her and her little tea party). Her likeness was being passed around, and she had to keep a low profile. The only work she could find away from the watchful eyes of the Bruma guard was to work as a [&@%!] at a local inn called the Tap and Tack. It was grueling work and Octavia didn’t like it, but it paid the rent and put food in her belly… but not the sort of food she liked.
One night, a client was too rough on Octavia. When she told him to stop, he just went harder. So Octavia drew a dirk from under her pillow and opened his throat. He was on top, and the blood sprayed all over her, filling her mouth. With the taste on her lips, Octavia could not help herself. She tore open his chest with her bare hands and gorged herself on his heart. When she’d eaten her fill, she knew she was in trouble this time – see, she was in a Tap and Tack bunk room with no way to clean up the mess. Octavia fled into the night before the murder could be discovered, further north, this time to Skyrim. Her being the last person seen with the client that night and a known [&@%!], sure enough she heard the barking of hunting dogs the next morning – the Bruma guard tracking her down by scent.
Octavia fled as fast she could. She was only a child, still 15 years old and fit from her father’s training – she was sure she could outrun them. But in her haste at avoiding what was behind her, she neglected what was before her, and ran right into a Legion ambush on some local rebel warlord. Stormcloaks, they called themselves. Octavia explained she was imperial herself, and with her accent and imperial name, they were about to let her go since she was not a rebel… that was when the Bruma guard showed up, and she was thrown in the back of the wagon with the traitors to have her head torn from her body in Helgen… but Octavia had a curious feeling about a feint roar she heard from across the mountain, as though it was some long lost relative calling to her in longing with a secret whisper only she could understand…
