One ingot = 10 or 20 arrows of the same type of metal? Why not?
Yeah I was wondering why they weren't in there.

Avron, try adjusting your X and Y axis sensitivity downwards a bit. I find the default settings a bit too fast and twitchy for effective and steady archery aiming. The downside is that your movement/maneuver speed will be slowed a bit during melee combat, making you seem less "agile". But once you're used to it, it doesn't really take away from melee too much.

There is an edit button, btw. Just sayin, since I'm sure a mod will comment on your double posting.

And now that you mention, I do very vaguely remember sneaking past the bear in the tutorial. VERY vaguely. I did the tutorial once three weeks ago. I haven't started a second character yet because I know as soon as I do, all I will do is start new characters.

You know, I never thought of that, but it makes a lot of sense. I'm going to try that and see if it works. Thanks for the helpful suggestion, Evil-i!

I've never seen a lack of arrows. Every bandit I kill has like 10-15 and it only takes one arrow to take them down. I must have hundreds of five or six different arrow types, and I haven't used my sword since I finished the tutorial, 20 levels or so ago.

Too many kinds of arrows imho. I don't know why Forsworn Arrows or Ancient Nord Arrows need to be different from Iron Arrows. I'd be content if there were only like 5 grades of arrow altogether. It's not like I can come close to using up any of the early arrow types that I have. By the time I deplete them, I have almost a thousand of the other ones...and my damage sucks.

Yeah, I already had the mind to plan a character that uses a bow most of the time thats complemented by Illusion and Alteration, then uses Destruction and a longsword when the 'going gets tough'.

Surviving without both ranged and melee attacks is a very tough challenge for Skyrim.

The arrow system is broken? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I honestly just don't understand why Bethesda gives each "Material" it's own advantages and disadvantages beyond looks, armor, and weight. so we're not constantly trying to get to the next tier.

I like that the Arrows in Skyrim are weightless.

They hit less hard when you take one in the knee.
