Saw that happening. Jeb seems to have been doing all of the major work as of late. Truthfully, I'm kind of happy that Jeb is now the boss. Notch always struck me as someone who was somewhat insane.

Well he's not really quit so much as let Jeb take over, and to be honest, maybe we'll actually get some stuff now he's in charge. If I don't get any new ores or foods soon I'm going to quit as well.

See, lack of new resources and foodstuffs (and so forth) doesn't bother me, because I play to build. Until I've built everything that I've dreamt up and then run out of ideas completely, I can't quit the game. Although I admit, playing on a server where we've a town and everything does help...because you're constantly making it, and the world, better.

Is that really what is happening, though? Are we making the world better? Or are we stripping it of its natural resources and beauty, forcing down Mother nature's venerable structures only to drag our own from the ground on which she once stood? Are we not only completing the cycle of human destruction over and over again?

The answer's no. But I really would like some steel, some horses, some bears, some carrots, some just anything that is new.

Tom, I really do love you, man.

Actually, now that you mention it, steel would be pretty neat, as would horses (I'm always looking for faster transportation) and bears. Although do I really need more things to sink arrows and swords into when I'm wandering around the woods? ...eh, couldn't hurt. The creepers are already in love with me. (It's true. They flock to me by the dozens - never knew why.)

Of course you need more things to attack and kill! Can you imagine how incredible a Minecraftified bear would look? This is why Minecraft needs more stuff - it's got to be the only wide-open sandbox game where I have, literally, seen everything. Sure, there's always new stuff to build, but some new stuff to build with would be nice too.

I would love that! And Jeb said that he would like to add new boats that you could design! Also, steel isn't an ore. It's basically iron and then they do stuff to it.

Im so happy, im getting a new desktop, its going to be a large portion of my current savings x.x, but now me ane my friend can now play together, last time was at the start of the summer, back when her boyfriend dumbed her, my laptop crashed and i defriended my best friend(same person), but now me and her can play again, im also going to start a server too i'll let anyone who wants to join. Though please do obey our laws, we plan on keepng this world, cause we got tired of changing worlds every day or so, so we wanna keep this one a clean looking one. I'm going to get the factions mod, so have fun building territorys, also getting the rpg mod for skills.

Man the last time i played, i believe it was 1.7 beta, it was when the wolves were added.

Oh, and you should worry about the EXP orbs. And mob spawns. Vw's server has been having issues with server crashes due to too many EXP orbs dropping on death, and lots of large mob spawns.

They fixed that with 1.8.1.

Anyone have any ideas why Minecraft would crash when I try to connect to a server? I have Java updated. Might it be because I have both 32-bit and 64-bit (using 32-bit browsers but running a 64-bit system, so Java said to use 'em both)?

kk i got my new desktop got my server running and what not, but i cant get the bukkit Factions plugin to work, is it outa date(which i suspect) or is it not very compatible with other plugins?
