Re: Direct Song!?
I have the same problem and in the UK. I just have been waiting. I'm hoping it's just taking it's time but if it doesn't come soon, I will dispute.

Re: Direct Song!?
I just placed a ticket on their support system about this, so if I hear anything, I'll post it here. It's probably just that they underestimated the demand for it, or there was a delay in the creation of the physical product. Hopefully one of us will hear from them soon.

Re: Direct Song!?
On DirectSong's website it says they will ship in 4-6 weeks beginning a week after the week of 11/11/11. It's only been two weeks guys your gonna have to wait twice as long or perhaps longer. Hope this helps.

Re: Direct Song!?
Where does it say that? The only mention of shipping dates I've found is on the description for Skyrim, which says "will ship the week following 11.11.11"GarrisonPrice wrote:On DirectSong's website it says they will ship in 4-6 weeks beginning a week after the week of 11/11/11. Re: Direct Song!?
I remember seeing it when I actually bought it. For some reason they don't advertise the 4-6 weeks thing on their website. They should though hah. Hope this helps. If you don't get it 4-6 weeks then I would complain. I mean, Jeremy Soule is personally signing a [&@%!] load of these so maybe that has something to do with the wait?

Re: Direct Song!?
I have had the exact same problem. Ordered even the same day as you, Except I'm in California. What's really frustrating is that they don't have any reliable means of contact.
However on their really useless support thread thing (I posted a thread about this whole issue- no reply), they have a thread about how they cannot send email confirmations to gmail users...Like myself, so I hope that is the only issue. Didn't see anything mentioning the 4-6 weeks thing, but it still is very unprofessional business practice to not have any easy-to-find contact for customer service.

Re: Direct Song!?
I can imagine with the amount of orders, it will take them a while to send every copy. I had this when I ordered a shirt and hoodie from a web comic, it took a month for them to be sent, and another for them to arrive.

Thanks for all the replys, I don't mind how long it takes, I could wait a year, its just that I don't like paying for something and getting no confirmation.

Registering just to comment here:
I ordered on the 22nd. I've heard neither hide nor hair of the order apart from a payment confirmation via paypal. Frankly, had I known this would take so long, and be handled so poorly, I'd have simply pirated it.

Re: Direct Song!?
I made an account here to post here. Been a fan of UESP for years but finally got in here just to say this.
I preordered the Skyrim OST on 11.11.11, and all I got was a confirmation email. Checking DirectSong's order status, all i see is this: Order Status: Card Approved.
Card Approved? Does that just mean you took my money but never shipped my order?
It's 12.7.11 now and I have not heard anything about whether or not my order was shipped. I'm getting antsy.

Re: Direct Song!?
Like many other people, I just created this account in light of the subject ^
I ordered my soundtrack on 11.10 and still have not recivied it. With that said I am not too worried about it not coming in though. I have ordered from this website before and it went well. It is a little annoying that they do not have a direct line of communication.

Re: Direct Song!?
Okay, just checked my DirectSong 'Past Orders' option, and nothing seems to be there. Either they've sent it out, or something has gone seriously screwy. I pray to Talos for the former...

Re: Direct Song!?
I placed my order via Paypal on the Nov 30th and have yet to hear anything either, not even a confirmation of order that some people seem to have received. The frustrating part is that Paypal shows the charge as being processed and so does my credit card.

Re: Direct Song!?
I had the same issue with my order not popping up in my 'Past Orders' section either, and i had purchased the Elder Scrolls III, IV, and V soundtracks. It turns out, it didn't pop up in there until after PayPal said my payment was cleared and whatever. Perhaps check within a couple of days for it to pop up. I agree that DirectSong's way they deal with the shipping part isn't the greatest by any means. Who exactly ships it? Is it UPS, FedEx, USPS? I have absolutely no idea who to watch for....and does anyone have any idea what the reference number they give you is for? I'm not sure where to find much anything on their site.

Re: Direct Song!?
Mmmh. I checked my DirectSong account and went to the "Order Status" page and my Skyrim order, that I swear was previously there, vanished as well.
I'm wondering if this means they've shipped it or it means my order vanished from the site's tracking, never to be seen again.
I will be very, very upset if my money ended up being stolen after I paid for something I really, really want. I am a huge fan of Jeremy Soule, and being a young composer myself, I once spoke to him many years ago. The fact that he took time to reply to my email and show interest in my music made me want to buy his music, and to have something personally autographed was so intriguing to me that was why I ordered my copy.
So, fingers crossed and praying to Talos that I'm going to receive my copy and it didn't just vanish into the fires of Oblivion for all eternity. >.<

Did you keep the emailed receipt? Even if you didn't, you should still have records on your Paypal account if you used that, so I wouldn't worry about losing the money.Kaeolian wrote:Mmmh.
