Killed after killing Snowy Sabre Cat

Post by LesR »

Trying to go to Winterhold, I always meet a Sabre. Even when i kill it a bolt then kills me. Is it linked to the hired thugs/assassins

There must be another enemy nearby that you haven't seen yet. Try using Detect Life (or the equivalent dragon shout) and make sure you and the cat are alone.

Enemies also show up as red dots on your compass. In my very limited Skyrimming, (that kinda sounds wrong,) I've found the compass measles to be very helpful.

There is this glitch where enemies including dragons can be invisible even on your radar but they can see you kind of like they are in 100% Chameleon ((even though such a thing doesn't exist in current skyrim and I wish it did, even an invisible enchantment))

If you summon anything of your own they can see what you cannot. Or if you have Aura Whisper or detect life or even be a werewolf with the correct totem, otherwise you are S.O.L.

A companion would also come in handy for the same purpose.

Yeah, Farkas is always telling me "Get ready for a fight" long before I see any dots on my compass. Like when I met up with Krosis. Although after a few deaths, I realized that Farkas was hearing him breathing in his coffin or whatever it is.
Signatures are overrated.

Nah it's okay.

That's disgusting and highly amusing.

Anyway, I've been killed by Ice Wraiths, even though I haven't noticed them there. They DO come up on the compass...but they tend to be above you (and once, IN THE FLOOR(!)) so it's a little harder to kill them when there's a Sabre Cat or a Frost Troll. Since they are bigger, and scarier....with big, sharp, pointy teeth.
ERROR:The Post above requires more smeg.
