Haha, i make a story/novel with them all, and some dont touch the story at all, my 46 isnt dovahkiin in my skyrim story. So no it doesnt get boring, each has a playstyle of their own, and each only do quest catered to their personalities.

Edit: was thinking of introducing a new character, a Redgaurd royal gaurd sorta type. Which leaves my two most loathed races unplayed nord, and imperial.

140 hours over three characters.

Sword and Board (first playthru, 98 hours, lots of content skipped)
Archer/Stealth (quit in disgust)
Two-Handed, Light Armor, Resto (20 hours in, loving it)

I have to play melee or it feels like cheating or being a [&@%!]. Plus a lot of that time was spent tabbed out doing other things like reading these forums.

Around 80 hours.

A level 50 Khajiit Archer/Stealth-char with OP smithing/enchanting/alchemy gear. Master-difficulty = one-shotting everything, so I stopped playing after completing the MQ, DB and TG questlines as well as dragon priests and daedric.

Currently: Level 11 Redguard Block/Mace-warrior, who I am having a lot of fun with. Will not play MQ that much atm, though I do miss some shouts - could probably do some MQ to get the shouts and more dragon fights.

Dunmer Warrior/ Assassin who i'm having fun with. I'm loving the leveling system, and it's already my favourite game ever! Gonna create Gandalf next, once i hit level 60 at the very least.

About 18 hours on my current (fourth) character. Trying to avoid the overpowered perks and items. Master difficulty. Two-handed, heavy armor, some restoration and lots and lots of thinking before picking perks that will make the game feel unrealistic, like conditioning. So far I'm having a really great time. It's tough and brutal as it should be.

75 hours with my original character, imperial spellsword.
40 hours with my second character, argonian thief/assassin.
10 hours with my third character, nord warrior.

Probably will never go back to the first two though, the warrior will be my "complete game" character I do everything with from now on. Maybe if DLC comes out I will switch back to one of the others.
