? on Khajiits being a mage

J'zargo inspired me to be a mage as a Khajiit. Anyhow how hard will it be at the start. I know my magic skills will start out at 15 roughly. But should i focus on Magicka for the first 5 levels to get it up to a high elf's magicka before i start pumping health.

Cause I'll probably get the Antronach birthsign and the Necromancer's Amulet for him early on if I get the Blood on ice quest to activate it again. I know every class is viable with any race but looking for some advice for the low levels. Cause i know Conjuration i get to skyrocket just by resurrecting the Draugr in bleak farrows.

Focus early on magicka, I pumped magicka past 250 before I put anything into health. Conjuration is important because it distracts opponents. Frenzy is good for that too.

Pump a couple perks into alchemy to make your magicka potions stronger, because you'll be needing them. Same with enchantment, enchant your robes or armor with magicka boosts, either regen or just extra magicka

Health is overrated as a mage. Honestly, it'll come the time when someone actually being able to take over 70 health in a fight makes your opponent incredibly powerful. I have a character that is level 25 and has like 140 health. But since he has like 500 magicka, he can make up for it with healing and summons.

BTW: Focus on conjuration. A couple of powerful thralls are pretty awesome.

My current character is a Khajiit mage. I can tell you that without the extra magika boost from playing an altmer prior to Khajiit it was really hard at early levels to do much do to the lack of magika. You want to focus on lvl'ing Conjuration + Destruction and Alchemy together as well as enchanting once you get the required enchantments ((but don't get rid of the novice hood you receive when you go through the jailhouse and lockpick the thing)) You want to wait for another novice hood which one you get for free when you join the college of winterhold.

Potions are not going to be just a money source but a life savior. Because of few majika and slow regen at early levels you -want- to have restore majika/health and regenerate majika/health potions on top of increase magicka.

get the mage stone and also buy the spell muffle, the latter leveling up your Illusion every few casts

What is a good recipe of ingredients early on for those potions? Also i've noticed that problem when i played a Altmer mage beforehand also. Its like damn it I want those extra +50 magicka.
