Best Place to Sell??
I can't seem to find a good place to sell my loot. Where is your favourite place?

Re: Best Place to Sell??
I generally make what I call 'loot runs' where I hit a bunch of towns in succession to unload all my stuff. I generally start in Markarth, so I can drop off and pick things up at my house, then continue on to Whiterun, and if I have a lot of stolen items, Riften.
Khajiit has wares, if you have coin...

I use a bunch of different towns too. Riverwood, Winterhold, and Windhelm.

Re: Best Place to Sell??
According to my calculations, Whiterun on any given respawn has about:
Blacksmiths: $4,000
General: $800
Mage: $500
Alchemy: $500
Almost 6k total, which isn't too bad, and much of it is within slow-walking distance of Breezehome. If you like to spend perks in Speech you can figure another 3.5k spread across invested major merchants, plus the ability to sell any item to any trader.
My favorite place to shop so far is Arcadia's in downtown Whiterun. She's got a public alchemy table in the back and usually has a few fresh Daedra hearts behind the counter for me.

I must be missing a blacksmith. There's the two at the first shop, and one at the archery place across the street. Who's the fourth? Will Zurmacht wrote:According to my calculations, Whiterun on any given respawn has about:

Riverwood trader, if you got the speech invest perk and have invested 500 in his shop. He have a woopin 10k !
No, you don't need his golden claw.
Spending 4 points in speech really pay off. Considering 6, but don't think I will ever need that much gold. Buying ebony, arrows, pots and rare alchemy reagents so the merchants can afford what I'm trying to sell them.
