Moonsweeperfor the Atari was the first game I played, I believe. Entertaining in it's simplicity for the time, but, of course, it would never hold up even against the worst of today's games.

God, I can't be THAT old!
At one point, I actually thought you were smart.Vesna wrote:I mean, when computer games were actually the craze, and were good enough and affordable to buy.

I really hate it when someone makes a valid point like this. The 360 version would be so much better if they hadn't made a PC or PS3 version... or any other console/system version...ace62394 wrote:I am a 360'er but I think that Oblivion for PC is better than Xbox or PS3, since you can make your own mods.

Meeeeeeemories.
My first game was the best game ever made. DUCK HUNT.
I can still remember vividly that motherless dog popping up from grass and laughing at me whenever I missed a duck. And oh hell yes I would play it again. There are several old games that I still play today.
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. 3
The Legend of Zelda
Tetris
Kirby's Adventure
Countless SNES games.
Ah the good old days. I often wish I could erase my memory of the games just so I could explore them all over again. I will now stop rambling.

Combat on the Atari 2600 was the first video game that I played that was "mine". I bought the system and some games with money that I had saved up from allowances/christmas money from grandma. That game STILL kicks booty!
I remember playing pong in some form before that at an Uncles house, but only vaguely.
