Skyrim Syndrome

Post by gerhardvh »

Started the game on Friday 2011.11.18. Since then I have aquired the following attributes.
1. Red eyes (TV screen addiction)
2. Drooping complexion
3. a Zombie like response to poeple around me. Cant remember why they visited or what they wanted when I was busy playing Skyrim. I actually threw a few curse spells at them.
4. Became very anti socializing.
5. I think I forgot what sleep means.
6. This morning I nearly assaulted my mirror when I saw the strange bearded man in the bathroom.

My biggest worry is with the next full moon, I think I am going to change into a werewolf, because I started barking at my dog this very day.

Any cure for Skyrim addiction - please let me know

Have you tried visiting the local temple? They tend to only have shrines to mortal "saints," but you might be able to get your afflictions cured there.

So it's a syndrome? I thought those were all perks.

My computer melted down... new one is coming but won't be here till next week... I'd tout that as a cure for skyrim syndrome, but I am just surfing forums on my underpowered lappy instead of playing :(

What, you thought you could refine your computer a little more if you melted it down? :D

I can't seem to stop making characters. I get them from level 12-20 and then quit, thinking I can make a better character who will explore more of the world. This is my main symptom. Plus all those physical issues you mentioned previously.

1. Nope, my nord doesn't seem to have red eyes.
2. I didn't choose that complexion setting, looked ugly.
3. He doesn't even speaks, just clicks words.
4. Are you kidding? He knows everyone in skyrim!
5. He knows what sleep means, but he is a warewolf so sleep buffs don't apply.
6. He saw a strange bearded man in the mirror too! himself...

Wuts a reul liwfe?

I was banned on the other side of the world. Years back when I had a job there, oblivion infected me with a necromancy affliction, started digging up graveyards to fight skeletons. Thank you for suggesting I must try the local temple, it might just work.

I have this syndrome, the other day I saw the time and thought "oh man! what do you mean I only have 5 more hours before I have to turn it off"

I forsake all other games for this artwork!

Don't worry, gerhardvh, I have the same syndrome. It helps if you remember one thing:

SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK
