Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
I am currently playing a level 29 Nord Warrior, as this has been my traditional first character for 7-8 years.
After completing the Main Quest, the Companions, the Imperial side of the war and Clearing 50 dungeons, I would like to try my hand at a stealth oriented character, probably a Khajiit, who I would complete the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines with.
So my question is, have you started your second serious character yet? ( For those of you that restart many times because something doesn't go right, I mean creating a new character with a different playstyle after playing a tremendous amount with another.)

I plan on playing either another mage, as either a Dunmer or a High Elf, or as a Dunmer Night Blade, but I'm nowhere near done with my Breton yet. I've only maxed out two skills

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
I've completed the main quest, stormcloaks and companions quests with a Nord warrior and reached lvl 40. My ridiculous smithing, heavy armor and blocking skills made me more or less invincible. Alduín took about one fifth of my health before he went down. I'm currently at lvl 18 with a Bosmer hunter/ranger. I'm enjoying archery more than hack-and-slash this far.

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
My current character isn't serious at all, I'm just going through everything and learning as much about the game as I can. Once Bethesda releases the patch that fixes the crashing issues I'll begin my serious character. I Will probably focus on 1 handed weapons along with restoration, alteration and a few other things. Gonna try and make some type of "exorcist" character, seems to be a lot of good opportunities for that in Skyrim.

I have just created a dark elf thief as my first serious character
. My rule for him is NO console commands whatsoever, but sooner or later I always get tempted to use them :/.

I plan on doing a pure mage on my second playthrough, when I'm done with my warrior blacksmith archer dovakiin who doesn't use magic at all (besides store-bought potions and shouts).

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
No, I am still very much in the "testing" stage, where I'm learning how different class archetypes function, and trying to make sense of all the events that took place between Oblivion and Skyrim. Can't plan a decent character otherwise.

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
I'm torn between pure mage or pure thief for 2nd playthru (after pure warrior first). Just not enough perks to go around to do both, which is kind of a good thing imo.

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
I have done 2 quests of the main questline on my first character which is level 20 Imperial Warrior, and I've already started my second character, an Argonian Thief, which is now level 10. I always have one character that does the "Good" guilds and another that does the "Bad" guilds.

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
Have only one character. It's mind blowing people have 40+ level characters and then a second character at my level. I probably will do everything with my spelltank before I start another character. I would like to make an artificer class that relies on enchanting alchemy and smithing. Does anyone think this is a viable class or is it too narrow? Imagine like archery, blocking, one handed with smithing, enchanting, and alchemy, have pro gear, make money from creating, buy every enchanted piece to gain many enchant types. Do cooking, hunting, herb collecting.

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
How'd you complete so many missions? I've spent a fair time exploring and have completed a lot of misc. misions but hardly any of the main\guild ones. When I say explored a fair bit I should probably say around Whiterun. It's only a fraction of the map I know. The Edgy Redguard wrote:I am currently playing a level 29 Nord Warrior, as this has been my traditional first character for 7-8 years.

I know I'll do an Aldmeri Stormcloak. Not sure of the details or the timing. Might bump it up a difficulty level in which case I'll need to know what perks to focus on - I've yet to get any. Probably a mage character ultimately getting heavy armour but short term using light armour\clothing so I have pack space.

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
Considering that my first character in Skyrim is traditionally my second character in a game, I have no plans at starting over.
I usually go White-then-Black when it comes to character archetypes, finding out what the game designer thinks how the game "should" end in order to satisfy industrial preconceptions as well as those of the mass market.
Subsequent characters like to twist cliché into daggers which send the unsuspecting into immediate shock, just like a dagger-thrust to the kidneys or the aorta (the easiest way to a man's heart is just behind the left collarbone).

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Re: Have You Started Your Second Serious Character Yet?
I have played about 50 hours in my first character. I have learned what I like and don't like skill-wise so for my second start I now know how I'm playing the character out. I think my first playthroughs are always the worst and usually end up starting again half way through.
A hero can be anyone, even a man doing some as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know the world hadn't ended.

I have now. Loki Frostbite. I accidentally deleted my Breton
That's okay though, I'm having more fun with a Dunmer. I always do.

My main is level 40 - an assassin-type khajiit character
Started my second who is a High Elf mage - only level 4 though, and I am still playing on my Khajiit.
