What is your favorite house?

I like all the houses but none of them seem to be as cool as rosethorn hall from oblivion

Proudspire Manor in Solitude, I like the architecture and feel of the city. Bloody expensive though. >.>

I've only tried the Whiterun and Windhelm houses so far, but Hjelim is my favourite of the two. It's just so spacious, and I love where the enchanting table and alcemy lab are placed. The only thing wrong with it was my disappointment that the armoury didn't come with a forge like I'd hoped, but I forsee a mod or two that will fix that.

That's why I like Breezehome -- smithy right next door :D ...I wonder whether or not Breezehome actually gets an Arcane Enchanter though; I don't recall seeing it in the list :/

I have Breezehome fully furnished and I can confirm it does not have an Arcane Enchanter, it does have an alchemy lab though.

Ah, boo. I guess I just get to go bother the court wizard until I buy a different house.

...Anyone find/ like/ complete an associated quest with/ ...annex Anise's House?

i only have breezehome and proudspire. Of the two i like breezehome better because it is a quicker accses to my gear instead of walking up three flights of stairs. Proudspire has a room on the bottom floor with a bunch of boxes you cant even use. If an entire smithing room was set up there, and some of the cob webs were removed i would loveeeee proudspire ten thousand times more

I have Breezehome, but I really want Hjelm. Too bad that the damn quest to get it fails to initiate for me. :P

I only have breezehome. I immediately got married as quick as possible to start the money flowing to save up for proudspire. Married Shavhee the argonian who lives there now.

About proudspire, I am sure it has plenty of dressers, end tables, cupboards and the like to store stuff in.
