You can't, unfortunately. You only see the weapon that's equipped in your right hand.

I did see a Companion in Whiterun walking around with a mace slung off her right hip, as if it were a left-handed weapon. That left me at a wonder.

My own character can be set up to carry nothing but a dagger in her left hand. But I can't see that dagger slung from her hip.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

:?: There are plenty of gameplay videos out there showing dual-wielding.

What is being said here is that you can only see the right-handed weapon when you've sheathed your slashy-pokey thingys on your belt.

When you draw a dual-wield setup in battle, your left-handed weapon simply appears out of nowhere.

I'm fairly sure enyamerT means that you can only see the weapon in your right hand when it is sheathed, as in, you cannot see the weapon assigned to your left hand when it is sheathed.

Edit: ninja'd, god the current laggy state of the Forums is annoying

Not so sure about that interpretation. I understand "...when im not sheath it" to mean both weapons are drawn, and the OP is seeing only one weapon. But if I squint at that post I can kinda see where you're coming from.

Despite the OP's less-than-fluent English, we can understand what he is complaining about because we were planning to complain about the exact same thing ourselves.

Dual-wielding characters do not get the eye-candy of seeing both their weapons slung on the belt while walking peaceably through town.
