Spoiler:
So when you do the Thieves Guild-quests, you get the Skeleton Key from Mercer Frey (correct me if I'm wrong), and it literally makes lockpicking a breeze, but not as easy as in Oblivion.
When you complete the Thieves Guild-questline, you are asked to deliver back the Skeleton Key, to restore the luck thieves have.
What are your thoughts on this matter? Is it a good or a bad thing? I am tempted to use a console-command to get it back, but not sure if I should keep console out of my first playthrough.
I don't care much for the Lockpicking mini-game, because it really does get trivial, no matter how much it has been improved.
