Impossible to decorate your house.

This really bugs me. I bought the house in Solitude and cleared off all the counters and tables in hopes of displaying my collection of unique items, as well as random things placed around to look cool. I spent about an hour decorating the bedroom, making sure everything was in a perfect spot, and left. When I came back, everything was on the floor.

This appears to be an issue with placing objects because it's happened more than once. Any way around this or is it worked into the game engine? Because it'd be an absolute shame if you can't cover your house in all the cool stuff you find like in Morrowind and Oblivion.

Besides using bookshelves and weapon racks i cant decorate either.

Sounds like you may have a paranormal entity.. set up some videocameras to capture the action whilst you sleep.

Yeah, I had a different problem. I set up some of my stuff and my spouse would just give it back to me.
