#1 You can trigger pressure plates w/ magelight.
#2 You can be challenged to a magic duel by a wizard who will whip out his dagger when out of MP. He will then chide you for using your sword "This is a magic duel. Mah-gic."

What other oddities have you encountered?

Anyways, a stupid thing to do is definitely to miss that consharned natural bridge in Bleak Falls when jumping down. Just don't.

Odd things I've encountered? I was fighting a dragon today, and halfway through the battle, he took offense at a tree a few dozen feet away and ditched me to freeze it. I had to chase him down and re-engage.

I loled at the thought of a dragon getting distracted by a tree and having to chase it. Dragons can have ADD too?
What about seeing if you can fight a mammoth at level 5?

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Especially not if there's a giant nearby. Buggers kill you in one blow.

Yeah, I didn't realize what the funny-colored water was until...

...I did the Thieves Guild quest where you sneak into the Goldenglow Estate. I'm in the sewer and see a tripwire across the passageway and some skeevers up ahead, so I figure I'll shoot one of them with my bow and let them spring the trap. Of course, I didn't know exactly what the trap was until the wall of flame comes racing toward me.
