Skyrim mod list.

Post by Vendetta »

The oblivion mod list was a failure, I am sorry. The thing was is that there was so much of an overwealment of mods while at the same time so much school. The list did not even end up as organized as I hoped it would be, it was a random category mess.

Because there are not a ton of mods out for skyrim yet, I am completely re-designing the list and adding mods to it as time goes by. It will be put on this post so keep watch.

Right now, just make suggestions regarding this mod list.

EDIT: The map is finished

This article has a few small mods that's don't change all that much but it's only been a few days hasn't it? :)

Leave the mod searching to me. Just suggest ideas for the list.

Organized tree feels logical to me. I personally would recategorize weaps and armor into light/heavy/1h/2h/ranged/staves. Also I'm not familiar with how things were organized in Morrowind and Oblivion but I would just group up meshes and textures with one Race category, unless people like to mix and match or it would be helpful for piggybacking others' work in an opensourcy way or something.

I'm sorely tempted to use Ultro-Map mod that's already out there. Just gonna give myself a bit more time with Vanilla Sky(haha)rim before augmenting.

"Dragons Eye View Skyrim's Ultro-Map" article on RockPaperShotgun since I am not allowed to post the URL.

I will add specific weapon and armour types under each class category. I didn't categorize it mainly by specific kinds of weapons and armour because I felt going to the particular class and then weapon.armour would cut down the searching someone has to do.

About the one race category suggestion, sometimes there are mods that replace a certain existing races textures, meshes, and animations. But it does not add a new race.
