"Over the mountains..? What were you doing in Ondolide vale?" Irri asked, following him.

"I'm a woodsman, soldier and a respected individual. Now, let me concentrate. Evils worse than orcs lurk here."

[Eltee]

Irri bit her tongue angrily. She was unused to that kind of rudeness. But, the thought of anything that could be worse than those horrible Orcs convinced her to just leave it and follow Beleg. "Fine." She said.

"Sorry. I'm just wound up right now. The orcs, the deaths."

[Eltee]

"I... Me too. My adventure wasn't supposed to be like this..."

[POMC S117]

"Most adventures don't turn out like you would think they would. I've seen men slaughtered by the hundreds, children forced to starve, women lying dead, starvation, famine, rape, destruction. If I couldn't stop it happening of course."

[Imp]

Dwanum got out of bed and came to the guard house. He searched for his commander

[Eltee]

Irri took a few deep breaths. "We should get going, before more Orcs find us." She said shakily.

"Yes. Let's go!" Said Beleg, taking off at a run with the elf on his back.

[Imp]

Hello?" Dwanum yelled into the room, he was looking for the commander

The commander frogmarched a whole squad of troops into the room. In all there were 40 heavily-armoured dwarves, all wearing faces of grim determination. "Ahhh.... I thought you had deserted us. Go and get ready. We're leaving soon."

[Imp]

Dwanum picked up his rough leather armour and put it on over his clothes and asked the commander "What are we doing? Where are we traveling to?" Dwanum put his boots on and slapped on his gloves and wiggled his head into his helmet. He picked up with broadsword and sheathed it.

"There's a large goblin force accruing in some mountains on the other side of Belerand. We are going to quench them swiftly. And get some heavy armour on. There'll be trolls, I expect!"

[Imp]

"Gotcha" He said. Dwanum was sweating at his palms and shaking. He has never seen real combat before. He took of his leather and replaced it with steel and accidently scraped his leg while puting on a boot. He hid it real fast and said. "Sorry about that, I am not-not realzy used ta c-combat." Dwanums voice was shaking up and down and he went in with the rest of the warriors.

"Everyone has a first time. Don't worry, we are heading to the less violent side. We are basically a cleaning team." He said. "Now, take something to eat and then meet me at the Main Gate in one hour. We need to time our journey expertly."

[Imp]

"Yes sir" He walked out of the lines and went to the barracks. He picked up a bread loaf and some mutton. and ate quickly and twitchly and got up and took a walk to the main gate, wiping his sword with cloth. He eventually arrived to the gate and greeted the commander.

Can you stop advancing the time that much please.

"You're early soldier." Barked the Commander. Come here for a second. "Sit down." He led the Dwarf to a stone bench and sat down.

Okay, thank you very much. That is what I am doing wrong. I am not really experienced in this yet. Could you tell me what you mean by that? It always did feel like I was messing something up.

There's nothing wrong it's just that it's almost as if you are controlling it. Not intently but it's just... that you are jumping forward. You are an asset to this RP. Very fin to RP with but it's just that one thing. Maybe you should make your posts longer and maybe make two posts as well to signify time. Other than that you are really good and fun.

Dwanum saluted the soldier and walked out of the barracks. Dwanum walked on to the local tavern to get some food and felt for his gold in his pocket. "I got about twenty pieces" he thought to himself. He opened the door and had a seat at the bar and called a server over.

That's an excellent post. It feels almost like that's what a soldier would do before he goes to fight... and may never return. Remember about his wife though.

The server came over to Dwanum and asked what he wanted. The server was a rough looking dwarf with a surprisingly long beard. He was cleaning a goblet with a dirty rag. "I wouldn't mind two mugs of ale. I'd say that would cost me ten gold together, would that be acceptable?"
"Sure" The dwarf grunted.
"I can give you and extra five gold if you could kindly clean the mug a bit better." Dwanum put the fifteen gold in front of the server.
The server muttered under his breath and slid two mugs to him full to the rim of ale. Dwanum took the first tankard and look behind him as the door opened. Shama walked in and sat seats away from Dwanum and made a loud sound when she sat down. The scruffled up dwarf server went to Shama and announced. "Ah, my favorite dwarf, would you like the usual, dear?"
"Absolutely" Shama said. The server smiled and brought over a whopping plate of mutton and a tankard of ale. Shama started inhaling the food and the server said.
"Remember, its on the house, love" Shama didn't answer and just nodded a took a huge gulp of ale and belched. Dwanum was scared. "What was happening" he thought to himself. Dwanum called over the server.
"Do you know her?" Dwanum asked asked
"Of course I do. We are marrying in one week."
"WHAT" Dwanum yelled at the server and the tavern looked over. Dwanum said nothing else and took anothe gulp of ale and took a swing at the server's face.

The barman stumbled back into some bottles of ale. The people in the tavern jumped to their feet to watch the fight progress for it had been too long since there had been a good brawl.
