Re: Wiki Update date?
Most of the initial pages are usually set up by the admins, but a fun thing to do to contribute is: Do a quest, thoroughly document it with steps, and eventually (if you make any mistakes or aren't clear about something) someone will make it even better. I've wanted to write down some quests on the wiki but I was just too lazy, and I'd probably obsess over it looking perfect anyway

Hmm, I don't know about a timeline, but I wouldn't expect anything too soon. There is just so much content to go through and then turn into articles. The Wiki needs all the help it can get quite frankly, so if you have anything to share there from your in-game experiences, feel free to try your hand at editing.

Re: Wiki Update date?
Well, the game has only been out for two days now (one in my timezone), so I would suggest you be patient. The wiki is always a work and progress and it takes time to make such a masterful presentation, I imagine!
I should also note that, nowadays, the forums and the wiki are a bit separate. We do not really have a lot of knowledge here about wiki life, unless you ask a member who is also a contributor, such as AKB. You might actually get better information reading through the UESP Site subforum about this connection.

Thanks for the replys everyone, sorry if I seemed impatiant, its just since I havn't got Skyrim I am getting board. But I do understand that there is months if not years of content to go through and I can imagine it is a bit of a WIP thing.

Re: Wiki Update date?
Well, we've had Morrowind since 2002 and Oblivion since 2006. It's been 9 and 5 years respectively, enough time for a LOT of detailed exploration of their worlds and every possible way their Quests can turn out. Skyrim has only been out for 2 days, has a whole brand new world to explore and new gameplay mechanics to learn. I doubt ANYONE has done much more than scratch the iceberg with a pin even if they haven't slept. I wouldn't expect much accurate Wiki info until the number of experienced players grows.
Right now, everyone's busy exploring their new world, taking their first unsteady baby steps. Actually, that's a good analogy, because most are falling hard on their bottoms and bawling, not because it hurts, but because their nappy is full and unpleasantly squishy. Good old dependable Mum Bethesda forgot to sterilise the bottle again.
