Heard the music and teared up a bit haha. Can. Not. Wait.

I have to work from Friday to Monday, no getting around it. So my personal time will be for Skyrim, sleeping and eating...I just hope I don't try to FUS RO DAH while helping an elderly woman...

I registered here only a week ago and it's sad to leave this speculation board. I even just had my first Skyrim dream this night. May you find all that you seek traveller.

I had to close every program I had open to find where it was coming from lol.

I'm glad Elder Scrolls is finally getting the recognition that it deserves. I was with a group of kids the other day that I didn't know and one of them mentioned Skyrim, than I would say 8 of the 9 kids said that were getting it. I felt like Morrowind and Oblivion weren't nearly as popular as Skyrim is going to be.

timeanddate.com allows you to set one up easier with timezone settings.

Countdown to 2001.11.10 09:30 CET, some shops in the BE/NL/D area will start selling.
Countdown to 2001.11.11 00:00 CET, the Steam lock in Europe is supposed to be pulled at this point.
Countdown to 2001.11.11 00:00 New York Time I suppose the US Steam servers will unlock then(?)

My copy has just been posted! 3-5 days shipping, so it will either arrive Friday, Saturday, or Monday (we don't have deliveries on Sunday). This is it! :D

Appears the old man might be buying a PS3, which is good news for me as he will use it for a day or two and never touch it again. I'm excited I may actually have the chance to play this game after all, won't be until Christmas most likely.. but a short wait like that won't kill me.

I've been following Skyrim since two days after it was announced. Too bad I'm gonna have to wait another month at the very least, four months if my plan doesn't work.
But I'll miss these days, where everyone was speculating, guessing, poring over the tiniest leaks and bits of info. It's been awesome. Nerdy, but awesome. Here's to Skyrim!

I remember sitting in my livingroom watching the VGA's when they announced a new game from Bethesda. I wasn't really paying attention at first, but I then realized what I was seeing. Three days is such a long time, I can't wait to get my copy on Friday at midnight!

The game is now in my possession :O
I suddenly noticed the shop that I pre-ordered from started selling this morning and send me an SMS about it.
I can't play yet (Steam lock) but I rushed to pick it up anyway before closing time.

The manual is useless ;( There are no spell or recipe lists or anything like that. It's just general info awkwardly translated in Dutch. There is plenty of info about what buttons to press to make things happen, but that stuff will be remapped by me anyway.

Steam does not allow me to pre-install yet or I am just too dumb to figure out how to make that happen.

Oh well, at least I'll have plenty of time to frame and hang the map.....

This is a very bad idea if I do say so myself.
First of all, you'd be missing out XD Second, it may take a while for all the dlc to come out. You never know how long they'll support the game with DLC. Last I checked, Oblivion was supported for a good while.

Yeah, that'd take a little over a year if Oblivion was an indicator.

I just want you all to know, I'm really jealous of all of you who are getting this game before Christmas and if you post ANYTHING remotely spoilerish outside the Skyrim forum then I will hunt you down and beat you to death with a spoon.

Happy huntings!
