Not changing this until Skyrim comes out, and even then, I'll probably be too busy... playing Skyrim...

Tristania
Pain
Serenity
Poison Black
Triosphere
Labyrinth
And the main acts in question -
Nightwish
Within Temptation
Kamelot
Lacuna Coil

Woah, surprised I see that name pop up here... When did you saw them? As far as I know they never played many shows... I saw them in Montreal last December (or I think it was in December) and it was an absolutely terrific show. They played until the bar closed at 3 am and I had to return home almost 3 hours from there, it was pretty insane. Unfortunately they couldn't finish their show, and they ended with the whole Volume 1 album, at least I heard the best tracks. Judgement of the Dead and Sentinels of Hate were incredible, I could've died during JotD. Anyway, that was an intense 2 hour of DOOM!Pagan Altar (still like them) x1
Sabbat x1
Sorry I've kept you waiting so long.Which one ?!?! The Japanese? They're one of my dream bands to see...
Here's the answers:
I did not know that about Judas Priest. It's a shame they could really put on a show.
I saw Pagan Altar at the Metal Magic Festival II in Fredericia, Denmark.
I don't remember their setlist, but I got to chat with Alan and Terry Jones for a long time afterwards.
Yes yes it was indeed the japanese Sabbat with Gezol and other maniac Japanese. I saw them at the same place where I saw Pagan Altar - although Sabbat was not at any festival just a concert.
And now for some new additions:
Electric Wizard x1
Graveyard x1 which means I've seen them two times now and I'm going to see them again soon.
Roger Waters - the Wall x1
and oh yeah I saw Iron Maiden again so now I've seen them three times..

Yeah it's a shame... but actually they're playing here in November, so I'll be able to see them. No KK thoughthe Savage Hippie wrote: Sorry I've kept you waiting so long.

You lucky! They seem like classy dudes.I saw Pagan Altar at the Metal Magic Festival II in Fredericia, Denmark.
I don't remember their setlist, but I got to chat with Alan and Terry Jones for a long time afterwards.
Arrrrrgggh! It's one of my biggest metal dreams to see them live. And actually, they will be touring NA in the future! In 2013 though... And Metalucifer with the Japanese lineup afterwards! But I managed to send a letter to Gezol via snail mail for his list of items to buy, with a demo of the band of my friends. It was cool to do. And was it Temis Osmond on guitar? If so you're even more lucky!Yes yes it was indeed the japanese Sabbat with Gezol and other maniac Japanese. I saw them at the same place where I saw Pagan Altar - although Sabbat was not at any festival just a concert.
I'll probably see them in May for the Maryland Deathfest (along Saint Vitus!), are they good live?Electric Wizard x1

They rule! They played Funeralopolis as the last track and after an hour of slow decaying iron slug doom metal the last part of Funeralopolis seemed like to be the fastest song you had ever heard.Stendarr wrote:I'll probably see them in May for the Maryland Deathfest (along Saint Vitus!), are they good live?Electric Wizard x1

The only concert I've been to in the past 6 months was Joe Perry, since Aerosmith is IMO unofficially broken-up/ on hiatus ever since Steven Tyler hurt himself in-concert.

Re: Bands You've Seen Live
I've seen...a fair few.
Agalloch, twice, both concerts better than all of the others combined.
Eluveitie, plus Amon Amarth, who were headlining.
Mastodon, with Baroness, who stole the show from Mastodon. I actually travelled downstate via train for this, and wound up sleeping on the streets afterwords because I'm stupid. Fun times.
Arch Enemy, who played an amazing set.
Celldweller, with i:Scintilla, Cyanotic, and other Chicago-based industrial bands. This was a fun show.
A metric ton of local bands, most of which have disintegrated by now.
I don't have the time or money to go to shows anymore, but I make exceptions for Agalloch, because that's the only way I can get any sort of spirituality in my life. Fantastic shows...and they give so few...

That's going to be a loooooong list.
The long list of Polish bands you've never heard of... Pearl Jam (x3), Tool (x2), Alice in Chains, Ben Harper, Skunk Anansie, Archive, The Dead Weather, Massive Attack, Regina Spektor, Yeasayer, Kasabian, Metallica, Monster Magnet, Mercyful Fate, Apocalyptica, Porcupine Tree, Bjork, Sigur Ros, Mum, Anna Calvi, Manu Chao, Franz Ferdinand, Coldcut, The Streets, Muse, Beastie Boys, Tricky, Killing Joke, Placebo (x2), Sonic Youth, The Hives, Klaxons, The National and last but definitely not least - Frank Turner x2, soon to be x4, because he's playing two shows in Poland next week.

I think I've made it clear in the past that I didn't like them live, but r and Sasha have both seen them as well and enjoyed their show, so maybe I'm just too... I dunno. I was going to say Indie but I don't think you could get more Indie than Mogwai without it physically hurting.

Did they play well? I mean, if it was the end of their tour and they were tired, it would make sense for them not to play well.

Re: Bands You've Seen Live
Finally saw them this November. Although it was in our freaking hockey coliseum, and since I very rarely buy tickets in advance, well I got owned and had to see the show seated. Plus the sound was [&@%!]. Oh well, it's freaking Judas Priest, I heard Rob Halford scream "we're never SATISFIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEED!" and "Victims of changeeeaaaas!" once in my life, so it's closer to completion. Plus the obligatory "get on stage with on a motorbike" hehe. And is it me, or the new guitarist seems more excited than every other member? It's kinda weird, he's like 20 years younger, the guy must be like "holy hell I'm playing for Judas Priest!" while all the others are more like "ah let's get on with it". They played the classics, some songs I wanted to hear like "Never Satisfied" from Rocka Rolla and "Sentinel" from Defenders of the Faith.Black Thunder wrote:Judas Priest
