Do bound bows need arrows from your inventory?

exactly what the topic says. will they also shoot magic arrows?or will you need arrows? or can u conjure arrows as well as bows? anyone know?

if you know the answer to any of these questions please put it in spoiler tags! if its just your opinion/speculation its fine, dont ruin it for people who dont want to know the actual stuff if u know it.

to the mods; sorry if this is a repeat i havent seen one.. if it is lock it, or move it.

I would guess either unlimited arrows for the duration of the spell, or just one shot

it looks like perhaps it is one spell, i was just thinking tho, having a bound arrows spell seperate would be pretty cool, if arrows are rare, also, do you think we can craft arrows with smithing?

I've been wondering this for some time. I think it would add quite a bit of depth to smithing, allowing different types of characters to benefit from it.

I thought arrows were just "rarer than in Oblivion". And they weren't really all that rare to begin with. My assassin always had plenty of ammo for her bow...

ya but in oblivion after u run into 5 bandits you have like over 100 arrows and continually get lots and lots of arrows in oblivion, if u can pretty much 1 hit people with arrows (they did in the demo from sneak attack), i would only want each bandit or whatever to only have MAX 5 arrows, so you would still have about 15-20 after a few fights, but dragons look like they take about 10-15 to get them wounded enough to have to land, it is unrealistic for people to carry around 200 arrows at all times, where would you put them?

well to craft an arrow it would seem that you would need some steel for the head of the arrow, some wood, and a feather/feathers of some kind (the ore would dictate the damage as usual, iron/elven/dwarven/glass/ebony)
