Your Proudest Moment in Morrowind!

Post by AddictedtoMorrowind »

What's your proudest moment in Morrowind? Mine is either killing Dagoth Ur at level 9, or figuring out how to play...

First time I finished the main quest. I was so proud of myself that day.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Finally finishing the Main Quest, after many, many hours of procrastinating 8). I'm going to do it again now, to honour finally getting MGSO all working on my new machine. Might take me ages though, as I'll also be doing Great House Indoril, the Fighters and Mages Guilds, and the Temple.

But yeah, the moment I became strong, and clever, enough to slay Ordinators, was a good day for my coin purse. :Twisted Evil:

When I dealt enough damage in one hit to actually slay Dagoth Ur with a physical blow.

I'll second the whole learning how to play thing.

The moment I actually noticed that I knew what I was doing, I let out a cry of joy.

Actually, on reflection, getting MGSO to actually work on my new PC after quite a while of trying and dealing with problem, after problem, is probably one of the happiest and rewarding moments of my Morrowind journey.

Yesterday, when I finished Tribunal for the first time. I played through Bloodmoon first, then the MQ, then Tribunal. So I felt really accomplished. :D

Either becoming the Nerevarine or completing Bloodmoon.

Well... When I became the Nerevarine in Azura's cave, that was pretty sweet. But completing the silent pilgrimage gave me a nice fuzzy feeling inside.

Finding Caius, proudest day of my life

Either that or actually killing Dagoth Ur, sure I used some scrolls of burst frost on him, but that's beside the point...

When i finally found all the artifacts on my own, without ever reading any faq (just looked at the artifacs names in the wiki in order to know which ones i was missing). It took me 3 years to find the Eleidon's Ward, which ironically was in a cave i visited in my first game ever when i was level 1 and couldnt beat the scamps guarding it. I didnt visit the cave again since i knew i explored the cave before but forgot i died in the first room.

Well, I have many. Once, I used that scroll of Icarian Flight, and jumped from Vivec to Balmora.

Exploring Mudan Grrotto for the first time. Finding The Boots of the Apostle. Exploring Maelkashishi. Fighting Karstaag. Fighting Vivec, Almalexia. Exploring the Clockwork City. Exploring the Urshilaku Burial Caverns. Low-level treasury runs. Learning about the disappearance of the Dwemer. Enchanting armor however I wanted/ finding my favorite combinations.

So many good times >.>

I was going to post in "best morrowind memories" earlier today but I went out, then I had an odd feeling of deja vu and realised that there was a thread, but Scoz beat me to the punch .

I guess a great memory of mine, while not necessarily an achievement, and therefore not really worth of pride, is joining House Hlaalu for the first time. I sort of wandered into Balmora after walking up from Pelagiad then I found myself in the Manor District and in the Hlaalu Council Manor repeating myself and signing up to join the House, then selling the Helm I was given for the very first quest before I realised it was a quest item and hurriedly going to buy it back, before realising that Meldor had equipped it, forcing me to sell my own helm, which was better, to get it back.

Finding my first Daedric weapon was a pretty sweet memory. I think it was a spear, so I instantly changed from Long Blade to Spears, even though LB was a major and spear was nothing...
