Do I lose mods if I uninstall?

I've encountered a problem with my Oblivion game, and I've Googled it and found that I need to uninstall and reinstall the game.

If I do this, will I lose my Save files and mods that I've downloaded/created? And can I just move them to a different folder so that they aren't deleted in the uninstall or won't this work?

Not entirely sure. I was going to re-install the game anyway so i'll check for you.

EDIT: Didn't seem to delete any files whatsoever for me.

Ther are 2 types of mod in general.
Ther are clean mods which are world for it self becouse they use all data from its own content.
And other mods tend to repleace game or other mod data so they will be partualy all entire demaged wen you uninstall game.
Game uninstall files based on list of item it provided, so if mod replaced item which have same name like one from game it will be delited.
