Seriously, from what I've seen of my brother doing stuff on there, it seems like 25% pointless drama, 25% excessive (and pointless) angst, 25% pointlessly annoying stupidity, and 25% hilarious stupidity. While the latter might be good for a cheap laugh or two, there are websites that post a lot of it, and thus you won't get caught up in the 75% pointlessness.

So... yeah... there are good reasons why I avoid Facebook like the plague.

I have a facebook account. I check it for about a minute every day or two to see if anybody has sent me anything. Also today I changed my basic information for the first time since I first set up the account about eight months ago.
