Re: How do survive the waiting?
Oh, and I've also officially booked off every Friday from November the 11th until the end of the year, plus the last 2 weeks of December. I know what I'll be doing with my long weekends leading up to X-Mas!

Re: How do survive the waiting?
If I think about Skyrim too much... I'll find my self re-watching all the demos again.
It's prolly pretty bad too that I've even had a dream about it...
Mostly been wrapping up my Oblivion mods & main file. Touching up EvE Online as it wont get much love after Skyrim. & preparing my own characters lore for the jump into the future

I've been distracting myself with nostalgic games I used to play, like Daggerfall, Azure Dreams, and Breath of Fire III. I'd forgotten how much I loved these games.

Re: How do survive the waiting?
Wow, I just realized today the game comes out next Friday! Getting excited. But I have no time to waste getting eager to play the game. I have loads of stuff to do for Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and a pretty charged weekend with my job. So when this school rush will be over, well the game will almost be out and I'll be able to enjoy it, rather than force myself not to play it because of exams or projects

I have a local Game Stop near my house so I'll be waiting there since 7:00 am on Friday so that I could play at least for 2h before my University classes
. I'm so excited and I don't even know why (I didn't count days till Oblivion...).

Re: How do survive the waiting?
Time is passing by quite normally. As of late, when I've been experiencing things it seems like I'm not. For example, it doesn't feel like I have an SAT on Saturday, and it doesn't feel that Skyrim is a week away. I've been buffeted with AP work and other things, so my time is being sufficiently occupied.

I play starcraft, lots and lots of starcraft. That and studying for classes from time to time, more starcraft than studying, lots more.

Re: How do survive the waiting?
It's currently 03/11/11. Tomorrow, 04/11/11, Disgaea 4 is being released here in the UK. I'm a huge fan of that series, so in a way I'm a little peeved that another crucial comes only a week later. Still, one thing's for sure - next week will fly by - and because it's so much different from Skyrim I'll be positively chomping at the bit for Skyrim when it comes - since right now I'm a little worn out by it all because my excitement just won't let me get off Skyrim related internet sites... not... for.. one... second

Re: How do survive the waiting?
I just DL'd DC Universe Online, so I'll be doing that till 11/11/11. And I MIGHT not get it on the 11th, though it's most likely that I will. If not, I'll have to wait for Christmas.

Re: How do survive the waiting?
I haven't anticipated the release of a videogame like this since I was a kid. No joke. It really reminds me of waiting months and months for X-mas or my birthday to arrive for a new console or something like that.Arkhon wrote:I have a local Game Stop near my house so I'll be waiting there since 7:00 am on Friday so that I could play at least for 2h before my University classes. >> Sez you. Skyrim will be a welcome vacation from the chaos next week will be for me. Although now that we're so close, I'm almost scared to play it. So much waiting, it feels strange that the waiting will soon be over.

Till now it wasn't that hard but thinking that the game will come out next week *argh*^^. Playing a bit of Morrowind should help for a while!

Re: How do survive the waiting?
School helps me pass the time, as my mind is too often taken up with "omg i didn't do this im gonna die". 5 days left for me, and still since it's currently Sunday I'm seriously feeling excited.

Re: How do survive the waiting?
I'll be honest, before the onset of November, I wasn't in an unbearable state of torment. But now that it's so close, I can't stop thinking about Skyrim for more than a second; I'll find myself thinking about what I'll do first, the impact on lore, whether I'll rush through the main quest or take it slow...I'm getting jittery

Re: How do survive the waiting?
I say, finish up loose ends on Oblivion. Kill off your favorite character in the most epic way possible.
Write up a new character, come up with a story for him, link him to your other characters.
There's still tons left for me to do. I don't think I'll finish what I want to before the 11th.

Play other games and do school stuff.
I think I'm going to have to stop coming here for a while, too many leaks and spoilers I don't want to know about.
