The List

Post by Unwritten »

OK, so we all have them. That list on the fridge or on the desk or where ever you put/lost it. The one with a seemingly endless amount of things to do, that you never have time for because you're not doing anything. Here's some off mine.
-Fletch Arrows
-Fix Sister's Lantern
-Rebuild old pressure washer's
No, that's not the end, of course. Now, What's on your list?
When I die will you close my casket? Make it glass so I can see who cared.

I have a long list of goals I write in my journal and usually fail all but one or two every year. I don't feel like digging out the journal and sharing everything though because too much of it is personal.

Oh boy. I have such a list, and some of them are actually a bit of a crisis.

I need to:
  • sort out all of the logistics around getting married (updating details, arranging life insurance, getting a will ready, and so on). This needs to be done like yesterday
make a brand new bed for my vegetable garden
clear out the other beds in the garden
    oil our wooden furniture
    clean the windows
start blogging again (although this will be done just as soon as we get a new camera)
    get the carpets cleaned
    get my windscreen replaced
And it goes on and on and on. And somehow my list became household-oriented over the last two years or so.

Study for exams.
I should really do that one.

For me is just trying to do my own freelance artwork after finishing college but that list keeps getting longer and longer. :?
A hero can be anyone, even a man doing some as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know the world hadn't ended.

My list is mental. Which consists on:

-Confirm something with Qantmn college
-Get information about various programming courses for the boyfriend
-Prepare for upcoming physics exam
-Ensure I write daily for NaNoWriMo
-Finish some 3d work for scholarship submission
-Finish Uncharted 2 before I play Uncharted 3

I don't have much of a list. It's mental.

-Do no homework
-Hopefully play Morrowind
-Go on forums
-Answer Morrowind Trivia and try to solve it
-Refresh my memory of some things, Morrowind-esque
...And so on and so forth.

I have only two things on my list, both equally daunting.
I must start Maths revision and write a christmas list 'by the end of the month'...that was in october.

Because of Chaz, the top of my list now reads:
"Get picture taken with Stephen Fry and Alan Davies"

I'll copy and paste the list I've just made in a word documend about the things I'll need ot do to get into a 6th for college-

NECCESSARY GCSE GRADES FOR A LEVEL!

Art = C for photography. (Make sure you turn up to neccessary after school clubs and buy equipment!)
Maths = C for Business and ICT (Make sure you make the foundation grade C)
English = B because it's a good subject to get the grade in (make sure you revise quotes specifically, and plot details)
History = B/A because you know you can get an A in it easy!!! May be good if you choose to do philosophy or something related. (Revise dates specifically)
ICT = Merit because it will look better if you take ICT ( For the love of god, don't [&@%!] play games all lesson. Bring in headphones for music)

:D Heh, a good place for it.
Spoiler:
In fact, that was probably the best time of my life! I even met Jeremy Clarkson, Dara 'O Briain and Ross Noble in the same day!
It was after a QI which, coincidently, is aired on 11/11/11.

I didn't mean anything personal, just the random stuff we all have that needs to be done yesterday.

And ya, half my list tends to be a mental one as well.

Another one that I wanted to do a month and a half ago: make a nutcracker of Gandalf to start out the Fellowship. So far I've got the materials to begin carving, that's it. My sister has been waiting ever since I had the idea to make his clothing and hair. I hope I have enough time before December.

— Feed the pygmy hippopotamus.
— Melt some fudge in the double-boiler for the Oreos.
— Dubbing session with David Warner to read all my posts here on the UESP forums.
— Acquire the one and only Gordita that the Taco Bell chihuahua did not want (a very freaky item: that dog was out of work for over ten years, and still had the good sense not to eat the thing...)
— Cognac, Cointreau, and lemons for a decent Sidecar.
— Buy honing oil for the dagger. And the skinning knife. And the reitschwert. And the two longswords.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Indeed, I wish mine was that simplistic.
My life time goal would be to finish school and then leave the country indefinitely to the Philippines where I'd work with some very good friends aat a children's home.

Oh, me too, me too! It's one of my favorite things to do...but most people nowadays want e-mails, so I happily do both. It's so much fun! (Although I admit, my favorite thing is postcards.)

I actually do calligraphy and have a special illumination kit I haven't yet used. When I master those tools, those letters are going to get that much more exciting!
