It wouldn't surprise me one bit, actually.

Not that the way given to us is bad. I mean it's quite enthralling to be honest. What other way that would be better or that you would want?

It's not that I dislike it. I just can imagine there being several ways to join. In a huge game where people are most likely going to make multiple characters, why not include several different ways to begin the questline?

Re: IGN talking Dark Brotherhood..
I don't think people want a "better" way.. they're just hoping for branching options for how you break into the DB. I'm betting the radiant system plays a role in this. Beth has said that the game, outside of the main story, should be pretty different for everyone who plays depending on what they do. I'm guessing that there has to be more than one "entry point" into the DB.

That is EXACTLY what I'm hoping for. It wouldn't be much fun to get into it the same way every time.

True enough. I just like so far what we have "seen" I mean it so coincides to invoking the DB whereas Oblivion (Bless you; I love you but) had murder and innocent and get visited by Lucien (Who I still loved as a NPC with personality) and your in. This one way just seems so much better written.

Nah, they couldn't do it because Thieves Guild is against killing of people, they are not Cammona Tong. They are not killers, they just steal...dubq wrote:Agreed. It would be cool if they could merge that idea into the Thieves guild. Have, say, a branch of the guild that only steals and doesn't kill during the theft. Then another, more hardcore branch, where all bets are off and killing is fine just as long as you get the prize.

Eh, it isn't necessary, but i guess it boils down to preference. I prefer the thieve's guild as just thieves. Not killers. I don't care if it is a branch. If i want to kill, then steal, i'll join db.
