Finished. Well, not really. A lot is still not known. However, unless we get more info or we finally get the game, this is as much info we can get from this.

Edit: Okay, I guess I could create a transcript of all dialogue spoken, or I could look for Hodvor more to see if he was the lenient guard from earlier. But honestly, I'm exhausted.

As tempting as it was, I watched a little bit of it. It was cool...
Spoiler:
If I find that captain that ordered my execution even when I wasn't on the list, I will find her and kill her! I will be DB anyway so it is pretty fitting :P

Spoiler:
You do. In Helgen Keep. Sounds like her, looks like her, as the same title. It seems that she falls by your hand. Of course, her death wasn't necessary, but that's not really important. Now is it?

Spoiler:
Ok, so the Legion Captain responsible for our execution? I'd be tempted in the way of Ulfric, except we don't know what bad stuff he might be up to either. Bethesda, from what we've seen so far, is brushing up on their story-telling. I don't think the choice will be so easy as 'This one tried to kill me, this one didn't.'
To see the world in a grain of sand
And heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

To those wondering why I was upset about the earlier leak, this is the real reason. During the video, the player read a book, but didn't have the courtesy to flip to the end. If I somehow missed this already being posted, I'm sorry.
Spoiler:
The Book of the Dragonborn

By

Prior Madelene Madrine

Order of Talos

Weynon Priory

Year 360 of the Third Era, Twenty-First of the Reign of his Majesty Pelagius IV

Many people have heard the term “Dragonborn” – we are of course ruled by the “Dragonborn Emperors” – but the true meaning of the term is not commonly understood. For those of us in the Order of Talos, this is a subject near and dear to our hearts, and in this book I will attempt to illuminate the history and significance of those known as Dragonborn down through the ages.

Most scholars agree that the term was first used in connection with the Covenant of Akatosh, when the blessed St. Alessia was given the Amulet of Kings and the Dragonfires in the Temple of the One were first lit. “Akatosh, looking with pity upon the plight of men, drew precious blood from his own heart, and blessed St. Alessia with this blood of Dragons, and made a Covenant that so long as Alessia’s generations were true to the dragon blood, Akatosh would endeavor to seal tight the Gates of Oblivion, and to deny the armies of daedra and undead to their enemies, the Daedra-loving Ayleids.” Those blessed by Akatosh with “the dragon blood” became known more simply as Dragonborn.

The connection with the rulers of the Empire was thus there from the beginning – only those of the dragon blood were able to wear the Amulet of Kings and light the Dragonfires. All the legitimate rulers of the Empire have been Dragonborn – the Emperors and Empresses of the first Cyrodilic Empire found by Alessia; Reman Cyrodiil and his heirs; and of course Tiber Septim and his heirs, down to the current Emperor, his Majesty Pelagius Septim IV.

Because of this connection with the Emperors, however, the other significance of the Dragonborn has been obscured and largely forgotten by all but scholars of us dedicated to the service of the blessed Talos, Who Was Tiber Septim. Ver y few realize that being Dragonborn is not a simple matter of heredity – being the blessing of Akatosh himself, it is beyond our understanding exactly how and why it is bestowed. Those who become Emperor and light the Dragonfires are surely Dragonborn – the proof is in the wearing of the Amulet and the lighting of the Fires. But were they Dragonborn and thus able to do these things – or was the doing the sign of the blessing of Akatosh descending upon them? All that we can say is that it is both, and neither – a divine mystery.

The line of Septims have all been Dragonborn, of course, which is one reason the simplistic notion of it being hereditary has become so commonplace. But we know for certain that the early Cyrodilic rulers were not all related. There is no-- ABRUPT END
Yeah, [&@%!] at him now?

Hm, it begins just as I thought it would then :P I mean, it was rather obvious wasn't it?

Also, I'll just use Chain Lightning on my captors and flee like a boss.

There can be a lot of scripting with the main quest at the outset because Bethesda wants to appeal to a variety of players (which is understandable), so there's a bit of hand-holding for the types that want to "beat the game" and only finish the main quest. The opening is also a chance to teach new players the fundamentals.

The opening in Morrowind wasn't too long, but the opening in Oblivion was a bit drawn out before you exited the sewer. Every time you wanted to start a new character you would have to go through the whole scripted sequence again. And if you didn't know not to deliver the amulet to Jauffre, the main quest would activate and Oblivion gates would keep opening.

Oblivion was more enjoyable to me after the main quest was finished, or prior to it being activated, since there was relative peace in the realm and it felt more like a sandbox game at that point, where you could focus on the guilds and your own story without some impending doom (main quest) lurking in the background. I hope it's possible in Skyrim to not activate the main quest at the end of the opening too (until you decide otherwise), so that if you don't want to experience any of the MQ scripting yet, you don't have to.

Spoiler:
I'm getting a very Call of Duty feel from the opening gameplay. It is a lot like CoD actually, except minus the guns, The whole HUD, the blood splatter, even the swing of a weapon, and the quest objective popups, the jump from the tower, all rings very much of CoD, at least to me. It is as I feared, but I'm still going to love Skyrim.

That's what worried me too. We'll just have to see, but am sure I'll like the game no matter what they do.

Did anyone else notice what looks like a new shout?
Spoiler:
The dragon shouts when he lands on the tower. Something like a fireball falls. I only saw one, but the camera turns downward, away from the sky. So, do you think this could have been a firestorm call?
I don't think I just imagined it, but if someone else saw it, I'd appreciate a confirmation.

IMO, this opening was nothing like COD, and especially not the HUD which bears no similarities whatsoever to the COD HUD..

Honestly, I didn't find it that spoileriffic. Beth shouldn't be shutting down these vids, either. I've never understood companies that are so slow to grasp the "internet age" or "social era" and crack down on leaked trailers, footage, etc. Maybe it's because I'm a marketer and a designer, but this kind of [&@%!] goes viral and only builds more hype which will more than likely translate to more sales.

By seeing these spoilers I must say I'm really dissapointed in the animations ....
Spoiler:
For example , when the dragon shouts the PC to the ground ... the stand up animation looks awkward as hell. And the characters anymations seems to be abit awkward sometimes. In the combat scenes etc.
