Questions about movement

Post by Frogmander »

So I have some question about movement, incase you couldint tell by the thread title .-. they are:
1. Will there be a point in walking? I always felt I had no reason to walk and instead just "marathon run" in oblivion
2. Will running (not sprinting) drain fatigue?
3. Will there be sprinting?
4. Will there be moments that you are forced into 3rd person, breaking immersion?
5. In first person will you be able to see your chest/legs? (Similar to Dark Messiah, or other various RPGs)

Thanks in advance :D

1. If you walk your fatigue would probably recharge faster than if you were running
2. It would make fatigue regeneration slower
3. Yes its been confirmed
4. If its like Oblivion, then when you sit down on furniture it will switch to third person. If its not then we don't know yet
5. I hope we can but i doubt it. They haven't done it in previous games

1. Roleplaying
2. It will slow fatigue restoration but not drain
3. Yes
4. I heard some finishing moves do this and in the intro gameplay leak the player gets a shout shouted at him and is knocked back forcing him into 3rd person view
5. Nope norm tes style weps arm, but maybe if you look down see legs or feet.

I don't think any info about seeing your chest/legs in 3rd person has been confirmed, but I do know that the animation system is greatly improved from your so called "marathon running". :b
