just glad Cliff racers aren't in skyrim.
back on topic: don't want in skyrim is cheesy animation on the final boss fight like at the end of Oblivion (Martin vs Dagon) that was cheesy as heck and a let down.

Heh, what about the Defense of Bruma? 10 ppl saving the future of Tamriel? Seriously, that was too much...Twisted wrote:just glad Cliff racers aren't in skyrim.

One thing I want would be to have the option to live off the land like a ranch/farm, and to actually have animals for food, and be able to grow food and chop wood for the fireplace and to hunt (with trophies).

I would love to be able to raise an army and raid rural villages.
Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
I don't want any more trying to hop-jump up smooth mountains.

So like climbing up? Or flying up? Or like a Nord sticking his axe in a mountain, stepping up, taking out his axe, and repeats the process again?Elegost wrote:I don't want any more trying to hop-jump up smooth mountains.

The cliff racers drove the dragons from Red Mountain. Maybe they can save Tamriel from Alduin.SuperNull wrote:Hey that might be the main story plot. Bring the cliffracers INTO Skyrim so the dragons have enough food without bothering the humanoid population.

No, all the mountains in Oblivion required you to do little strategic hops to get up the mountain.addictedtomorrowind wrote:So like climbing up? Or flying up? Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
What I dont want:
Dungeons/caves that look the same
Only 1-2 types of caves and such
Leveled items
Bad spell making
Bad looking enchants
Dungeon and caves that look the same 3:<
Bad voice acting
Only one voice actor
Dragons attacking me every 0.2 seconds.
Unrealistic damage, since when can a human take 57 arrows to the chest, 32 sword stabs, 15 fireballs to the face?

I guess Leveled Quest Rewards(weapons, rings, armors, clothes not gold). Or at least make them level with the player.

Failing combat. I don't want it to be laggy and look unrealistic. The blood looks like it spats to wrong directions.

I don't know if this was a rumor or not, but killing a dragon to level up, I just couldn't have that.

Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
My only "don't want" for Skyrim is the trademark Bethesda game lag. I mean the serious lag that happens when you enter an area that hasn't fully loaded and 9-times-out-of-10 it crashes your console. I'm hoping that, since they apparently rebuilt the entire engine from scratch for this game, that it won't be an issue.

Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
Agree, my game crashed so many times it is ridiculous. My PC filled the medium-high reqs and it still crashed. I had no such problems with Morrowind but it was truly annoying in Oblivion.

Re: What don't you want in Skyrim?
The worst offender for me was Fallout 3, and then to a lesser extent New Vegas (though it only started happening once DLC was added on). Oblivion I didn't have so much of an issue with, but there were definitely some laggy points for me.
I am fine with the small bugs and quirks, just please, no laggy lag lag, kthx!

I don't know where you heard this, but I can say without a doubt that it isn't in. Loads of the journalists who have already played leveled up, but only one of them succeeded in bringing down a dragon.DerangedPickle wrote:I don't know if this was a rumor or not, but killing a dragon to level up, I just couldn't have that.
