"Dangers?" Asked the old dwarf. "In Belegost? By Durin, no. This is like a city, like a city under the ground, in a mountain. It's as safe as Gondolin!"

"Okay, thank you sir." Dwanum said as he waved good bye. He and Shama walked through the caves, corridors, and shaft until they got to the market place. The two dwarves went to look for a place to eat, then walked into a large cabin like building.

Matthias walked by a bush, and heard movement. He looked around, and saw 3 orcs walking by. Matthias slowly set himself up behind them. he pulled his sword out, and slowly sneaked up behind the orc.

The orc, who had the hearing and smell of an animal, twisted around and threw the human to the ground.

"Look! We got usselves a slave!"

Matthias cursed, and stood up. He backed up a little, and picked his sword up. He waited for the orc to make a move.

The orc distracted Mattius while the other two sneaked around him. Catching him on unawares, they lunged at him.

Meanwhile, after travelling for many days over rough rugged land, Findorin reached a ledge of a fierce ridge cutting through a forest near Mithrim. It snaked through the trees, creating very abnormal and beautiful views, such as a tree tilted at a perfect 90 degree angle and growing perfectly normal. Suddenly, he heard some orcish growling. Dammit! So close to his home too.

Sending his pet away to a safe position, the man readied himself for what was to come.

Matthias, hearing the orc behind him, dodged to the right. He looked back, and swung at one of the orcs. At the same time, he attempted to analyze how the orcs were attacking.

The orc dicked but was clipped in the ear. Resultantly, he tumbled to the ground.

Matthias stabbed the orc through the chest. He turned around and slashed at anothers ankles.

The orc wailed and sank to the floor. The remaining two jumped on Mattius, pinning him down.

"Good day sir." The shopkeeper said. He was a dwarf taller than most, but had more of a slender build.

"Do you sell food here?" Shama asked. Shama grasped her stomach as if she hasn't eaten for days.

"Yes we do, ma'am. Are you new here?" The relaxed dwarf asked.

Shama said, "Yes we just got here. Now what do you have for food?"

The shopkeeper said, "Well, I am sorry for the questions. We have practically everything you want"

Shama said "Do you have any vension for sale? I would like 3 pounds."

"Ten gold please, can't refuse that" The shopkeeper says.

"I can" says Dwanum. He said to Shama "I think we should share one pound and save the rest for when we need it." He then talks to the shopkeeper, "Give us one pound, for two gold"

"I guess I could do that" says the shopkeeper.

The two left the shop and went to their house. Their house was a nice small compact place. Not too big, not too small. One bedroom, one kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and a small unoccupied room. The two slept for the night at their own home.

"Ahhh... Slain in battle. If I could only have said goodbye to my family. My life here is waning, like a candle, but my life in Valinor is beginning. Y-You have always been a good student F-F-..." He convulsed and was peaceful, for ever more.

Faronhír placed the body reverently on the ground, jumping back up into a ready position. When it became clear that the Orcs were gone, he surveyed his companions.

"Now what?" he mused, "we should send word to the city, these Orcs must be hunted down before they cause any greater threat."

The lieutenant spoke up. "I think we should all carry him back to the city. The orcs are long gone."

"But they may return," Faronhír insisted, "we should not delay in returning to the city. Some must go ahead to alert the city, while others track the Orcs, and others still may return the body to Gondolin."

"The orcs have fled. They do not know of the city, lest they would have attacked in bigger numbers. Come. We must alert them, but please, I pray, do not wander after some wretched orcs."

"I insist, I will travel ahead to the city, but you must send men to pursue them," Faronhír said, "you would be foolish to let them wander through these lands unchallenged. They are threat to us, even if they have not yet discovered Gondolin."

The lieutenant whistled to two guardsmen and told them to chase the orcs. "Happy? Let's go."
